@zytigon With Biblical prophecy, and with individual prophecy, it's "in part", so a certain percentage is what God is saying and other parts are aspects of the prophet's effort to interpolate what was said into human language. It was different with Jesus, the Son of God, who was completely accurate. As far as death, Jesus tried to explain to us it's a form of sleep from which all shall awaken. As for that "conflicting opinions" scholar you mention, the Bible is not conflicting but is coded.

Maybe it is an observation that many times success is harder & requires more skill, planning, greater thought & care than failure. It is easy for ruin to happen. Trying too hard ain't good either. Smart decisions is key.

I've met an Indonesian one, who was impressed with my idea of using English as an international language. I met the one the ancient Egyptians imagined to be the deity of the underworld, and a number of others. These are not gods, but other creations of God. Many have superior intelligence to humans. and many don't.

As far as the ark is concerned, some of the early satellites photographed it on Mt. Ararat and was pictured in Life Magazine. @zytigon With Biblical prophecy, and with individual prophecy, it's "in part", so a certain percentage is what God is saying and other parts are aspects of the prophet's effort to interpolate what was said into human language. It was different with Jesus, the Son of God, who was completely accurate. As far as death, Jesus tried to explain to us it's a form of sleep from which all shall awaken. As for that "conflicting opinions" scholar you mention, the Bible is not conflicting but is coded.

I don't know if the person who did that had any meaning about it but it could have been a comment on the damnable doctrine of hell that some versions of Christianity hold. Maybe it is an observation that many times success is harder & requires more skill, planning, greater thought & care than failure. It is easy for ruin to happen. Relationships need attention to detail, problem solving, acting quickly enough to save the situation. There are destructive ideas in the Bible which can ruin life but also some that could help. Trying too hard ain't good either. Smart decisions is key.

The moment the metropolitan centers had groups established by Saint Paul, they began to become organized externally in order that they might be kept from spreading and that the belief system could be altered to become the tool of the state. Then this information is very ancient; only a fragment gets through to us. We can know that there is some sort of headquarters of God, the heavenly kingdom &the Devil still has a place there until Michael defeats him.

I've met an Indonesian one, who was impressed with my idea of using English as an international language. I met the one the ancient Egyptians imagined to be the deity of the underworld, and a number of others. These are not gods, but other creations of God. Many have superior intelligence to humans. and many don't.
