  • the low relief shops could be an estate agent and a greggs.

  • can you link me to the guy on ebay please? awesome video and really like what you are doing to thw town btw i have subbed

  • @123ps3boy search dustylionflower on ebay.

  • I used to own that a 33 like that too, sold mine for little, wish I had known it was gonna be rare! NSE, Intercity Swallow and Regional followed similar patterns with just different colours, they were all great liveries and really were good brand identities on the railways

  • @NOMAD8459 yeah the class 33 in nse is worth abit of money as its hard to come by.but i agree that intercity and nse aswell as others were great liveries and is a shame they are not around anymore!

  • I have about 120 preiser figures that i used on my old layout, I am not yet sure how many I will need for my new layout, but my new layout is much smaller so probably will need less, probably gonna put them on ebay in sets of 10 for not too much money, best place for scale cars is actually model railway exhibitions, I checked ebay and not many on there but exhibitions are where I found the best choice for modern cars

  • great work. admore it. gunna make my own bus depot now after seeing how good they can look! bought my own buses for my own one now! just gotta get round to bulding it!

  • @AmmanfordJunction my bus depot is far from finished.still got lots to do to it and around the rest of the town!

  • If you do get another class 33 which one are you going to see if you can get but even so your layout looks very modern

  • @Whizzer1 i want the blue hertfordshire travel class 33 that hattons have in stock.i like that one because of the jumper cables on the front!

  • Hi there

I have tried emailing you about the vehicles. I am guessing from the lack or replies you are no longer interested in them. Please can you confirm this as if so I can find another buyer. Sorry if you feel like I'm hassling I'm not.

    Cheers perry

  • @pjlb2903 sorry mate i have not even looked at my emails for over a week.yes i am still interested in all the cars but i will pass on the fire engine.sorry about the delay mate.

  • Well done ! Cheers from Germany

  • @abc123gpl thankyou.where in germany you from?

  • @bloodmarine77 Schleswig Holstein

  • @abc123gpl im from iselohn nr dortmund.

  • Hi

    Looks great

Oxford Diecast are releasing modern cars at the moment. New Mini, Land Rover Defender, Ford Transit soon and Land Rover Discovery 3 + 1980's Golfs and Escorts.

    New catalogue out very soon

  • @toysandmodelsathawes cheers mate, i will keep an eye out for them.

  • Looking good, I am also looking at getting a class 33 for my layout just not sure which livery I want.

I like the BR blue or maybe I should go for EWS hmmm ponder ponder....

Keep up the good work, I am finally getting the town scene under way so... sometime this year.... I will post a progress update of my layout.

  • @railway31 yeah a class 33 is a must.get it in ews as thats what i want too.but as the nse livery its hard to get hold of.

looking forwards to your progress update in the near future.

  • Some great detailing tips, the layouts more like a club layout, all credit to you,one idea i use are car adhesive stripe for road markings, come in 10m lenghts made by 3m as i ,ve used on me faller car set up roads, cheers Tony/

  • @sheba31 thanks for the kind comment tony.

i know the stuff your talking about,i didnt even think of that.so i will go and get some as it will be easier to apply to the layout.

    thanks again tony.

    regards

    terry

  • great update love the layout.

  • @shauntaylor2000 thanks mate glad you like the layout.

  • Hi there

I have 12 vehicles for sale if you are interested. I can email you what they are if you would like.

    Cheers perry

  • @pjlb2903 yes please perry.

  • hiya mate that 33 does suit your layout some cools shots of it too .i was about to do a video of my 33s also , so its the green door on glebe road second floor il be visiting real soon i may wait a while as im sure its full of pervy trainspotters at present lol ,great little touch. yes a stripclub casino and a few police cars wouldnt go a miss this is definitly my favourite channel now on you tube keep up the great work . cheers.

  • @steveallen808909 lol cheers mate.i will get you a discount for the shop of ill repute...LOL.

the 33 is now one of my best locos to date and it looks superb running around glebe road.

i think a stripclub is a good idea and is on my list of things to add.

i have also just ordered some cars and vans inc police cars and ews transits.so they should be on the layout by the time i do the next update.

  • @RadiotoCharlie3Vids its a shame to get rid of the nse livery tho!

  • amazing keep up your great work

  • Great layout there fella. You mentioned you where after modern cars. I got all of mine from Oxford diecast and cararama. I have loads. eBay is your best bet. But cararama had it's own website. They come from hong kong. The scale is 1/72. I hope that helps.

  • @pjlb2903 thanks mate.yeah ebay is my only option by the looks of it.

  • Hi mate layout looking good, the house of ill repute prieser I think thats how its spelt off top of my head do adult figuers in there range try On Tracks for them. The paving looks superb with broken slabs and at night the street looks great lots of detail going in.As for the class 33 speaks for its self I'm northern region so I've got a class 26 there quiet good models but a bit pricey. All the best Kev.

  • @percomotion hi kev.i will check out ontracks for the figures.the 33 is one of the best locos ive purchased to date.i also have a few class 26s and im a fan of all the small diesel locos or (RATS) as they are known.

im glad you like the detail on the town area.soon it will be nearly as good as your layout.well maybe in another 20 years...lol.!!!

  • @bloodmarine77 Your too kind look forward to the next 20 years then, I've added some more green diesels to fleet will do another video soon before it gets too cold in the shed also I've been busy replacing the school area on the layout video soon all the best Kev.

  • @percomotion ok look forwards to it.

have you thought of adding diesels in br blue or anything more modern atall?

  • @bloodmarine77 The model could go into early seventies without changing too much of the street furniture, but it could never go modern day as cost and building would need replacing as well as rolling stock,so I would not go past mid seventies all the best Kev.

  • Nice mate, its looking great. Maby one or two small traffic islands with bollards on the main road would look good or even a pedestrian crossing with traffic lights? Also have you thorght about putting a back scene inside the bus depot as it would give it alot more depth and look able to realistically hold a bus fleet? Just seems a bit small at the moment. Haha cant belive you have a house of ill repute, ive not seen that before nice one :)

  • @ApacheBravo ive got all the stuff to make the traffic islands and ped crossings and traffic lights.ive just got to get round to it.

good idea for the bus garage tho.a photo backscene of buses would give it a great look.

and i thought id get a good reaction from the house of ill repute.glad you liked it.

  • @bloodmarine77 Its a shame I dont have my own permenant layout to use all these ideas I give you lol

  • id like that link plese and hmm 33 - deffo a fan of nse but not a fan of 33s

  • @MrJezza31 how can you not like the 33.i will send you the link via personal message.

  • looking good can not wait to see the naught house finish lol my wife likes the idea

  • @SuperWin87 my wife thinks im a perv for putting it there.

i told her i could get her a job there, LOL.

  • Looking good, I wouldn't worry too much about the NSE blue. NSE is a very complicated livery, over its lifetime there where 2 shades of blue, 2 shades of grey and different types of stripes. Blue also fades badly in the sun so it was very rare to see a NSE train that matched.

As for the weathering, you could remove the body and just weather the underframe. The rare bit is only the bodyshell and weathering the underfarame will give a good effect. I've done it to a few coaches.

  • @EverardJunction thanks for clearing up the shade of blue subject.

and i think i will take your advice and just weather the underframe.

i think the 33 in NSE would look great on your layout.

  • @bloodmarine77 Yes It would, but as you say they are very rare and only 2 examples were ever painted in that colour during the early 90s, so it's a bit out of period. Still wouldn't mind one though.

I'll stick with 50s and 47s for the mo. Do you have a 47? I would highly recomend the bachmann one. 47s were the most common diesel in the uk.

  • Do you mind sending the link for the guy at eBay.

  • @RadiotoCharlie3Vids WOW, have you really been restoring it.how lucky are you.

i would love to see how it looks now.

  • Tarmac looks great , what type of paint ? . Great attention to detail around buildings . Paving looks good so far . A house of ill repute nice one !!!!!! Street scene really captures the imagination . Would like the E-Bay address for fencing etc please . Class 33 could'nt be a better choice , Heljan are a class act .

  • @REGWARNE12 thanks for the comment mate.the 33 is one of the best locos to buy.

i cannot remember the brand of paint.but its tarmac colour and i got it from hobbycraft.i then just added differant diluted greys to it to tone it down.

i will send the ebay add via a personal message.

  • the town scene looks great, also nice loco.

  • @trainscrazy cheers mate.the loco is superb.

  • Very nice update there, 33 looks nice, might have to get one.

  • @itgamer100 the 33 is well worth getting.thats if you can get hold of one!

  • The 33 looks nice but you know of course the roof profile is wrong?

    Nice town detail btw.

  • @gower2880 what do you mean the roof profile is wrong.how should it be?

to be honest im not totally clued up with trains.

  • @bloodmarine77 If you look at the 33/1 heljan made, the roof shape is correct. They made the 33/0 too big! Check out the "Rail Exclusive" web page for the new SUPER Heljan 33's!!!!!

  • Whats the name of the Shop on E bay for the detailing bits. by the way its even better with sound lol.

  • @maxilfli1 yeah sound is something im looking at getting added!

i will send you a link to the ebay store via a personal message as it wont post here for some reason.

  • @bloodmarine77

haha miss communication there, what i meant was that i watched the Vid at work first thing in the morning (about 5am ish) but i have no sound on work pc so watched it again at home and was able to listen to your commentary hahaha still a great video. and thanks for the link.

  • look in your local sainsburys

  • nice 33,nice update :)

  • @mongoosekid14 cheers.

  • Comment removed

  • @1968concorde hi mate.yeah the 33 is a wonderfull loco.im well pleased with it.i did want a 33 with the jumper cables on the front as it gives it more detail.there is another 33 that heljan do with the cables.its the hertfordshire rail tour in blue and hattons have it so i mite get that.the bus depot should look good once finished.

  • @488scooby the 33 is superb.

you wouldnt want that address mate ive heard the women are abit ropey...LOL.

  • terry the detail is brilliant mate, the industrial unit sits really nice there mate, top marks for realism,i need to do more of this on my layout, by the way have you seen my latest video about mine troublsome class 46,

  • @488scooby hi mate.its all about the realism i think.i have seen your video on the class 46.i dont really have any suggestions to be honest apart from cleaning the wheels and pickups.checking the wiring and using some oil.good luck with it tho.

  • nice 33. does it have brake lights aswell as head lights? and is it dcc ready?

  • @andyfriarsjunc yes it has brake lights aswell.and yes its dcc ready.my lyout runs only on dcc.wouldnt have it any other way!
