"Indian ascent."......Lol. It is spelled as "Accent" and not "ascent" (it should have to "c's in accent). The word "ascent" which is the one you used, actually means to incline/go upwards.....Looks like you are the one who needs more practice with your vocabulary....Just saying...lol:)
You soak bean or whichever pulse you want to sprout overnight in plenty of water. Drain the water and tie up the ingredient in a piece of thin cloth and leave it in a warm dark place. It will take a day or two for the pulse to sprout.
