  • Doc Martin---The MAGICIAN---

5:45--6:00 Doc tries to remove sign in front of surgery.

45:33-45:50 Doc saws sign down (about half the height), leaves post about knee high. Takes sign and throws it over side of hill.

45:53-- Returns to surgery and by MAGIC the remainder of the post which he just got through sawing down has VANISHED....so Doc the MAGICIAN.........LOL

  • I've fallen in love with this series. Seriously, the most hilarious, loveable show I've ever seen. I sped through seasons 1 through 3 in just over a week. Watching season 4 now. I can't wait 'til we get number 5 here in the States!

  • thanks for putting this up. Much appreciated!!!

  • I'm an American and kinda rediscovered peep show, men behaving badly, mr bean, faulty towers, keeping up appearances, awesome!!!! You Brits got some good stuff, while we keep ripping them off and canceling are good ones lol. Bored to death, arrested development, party down, all cancelled. sad

  • I'm a dense Yank, but I just got the connection with Doc Martin and the boot!

  • Watching it from Italy! LOVE IT!

  • This program is awesome.

No matter what a shit day I've had it never fails to cheer.

Thanks for posting this mate I could watch it everyday.

  • One of the best tv program's EVER

  • Lmao at that insult to the isle of wight. =)

  • @Andraste77, I love the English, literally. I had a girlfriend from Cornwall, while I was stationed overseas in England for two years. Almost married her. I love British humor, but it seems a lot of Americans need to aquire a taste for it first. This is why I think BBC America exists. Yanks need time to digest it. This show is BRILLIANT. I am hooked on it big time. Caroline Katz!! OMG!! If I ever saw her in real life, I'd faint.

  • great show, i live in cornwall and i can tell you this is more of a bristolian accent, cornish is more like a pirates dialect, nonetheless, good stuff

  • they should do a prequel series to this, it would be called little martie and it would show martin 11 years old and him becoming anti-soical when entering his teenage years.

  • @xsLayerish Thing is, with what they showed in season 2, it would more centre on how Child neglect can do that. There's an episode where his parents visit, and basically you see how his Dad passed him over and Mum hated him, she even blamed her being seen as a mum on him. It's when he learns they're splitting up, and Martin sells his London flat to get his dad to leave Aunt Joan alone, as he's more fond of her

  • theres no way, on the cornush backlanes, that his Lexus would stay silver....

  • @DPByers actually the do there is serveral In Bude and Launceston

  • @Buttercupline2 i live in launceston, its not the same as the backlanes of Port Isaac. lol

  • Very impressed with ITV Cornwall is actually like this Doc Martin should replace Corrie rubbish!

  • Ah I love British comedy shows

  • Those poor extras being forced to dance like complete idiots

  • I have seen the first couple of episodes on netflix but the clarity and sound are definitely much better on you tube. Which I think I someone said was done by downloading from another source? Anyway, well done.

  • Great news! Series 5 starts on UK tv tonight !

  • If you like this i suggest you watch some of these,

Outnumbered, vicar of dibley, only fools and horses, father ted, blackadder, fawlty towers, my family, miranda, etc. Alot of them are different types of humour, but i think they are all brilliant =) you should check them out =)

  • @e7l13 Vicor of Dibley is great entertainment, I was given the complete set of DVD's from BBC when I won a email contest on their website. Love it when they all gather together for the town meetings.... ("Yes-yes-yes-yes... NO!) Father Ted is also a great series. Haven't seen it on TV in years though. The rest you mentioned, not so much. Doc Martin is my new favorite. Brilliant entertainment. Love it. Never miss it on local PBS station. I plan on buying the entire series on DVD soon.

  • @hoesey then you clearly have good tasye in programmes =)

  • I was going to write a comment about how not all english poeple are like this, but then i realised half my family are like this =) on my mums side, they are nearly all farmers and we all drink a hell of a lot of tea =) lol, its funny reading all the comments about britain.

  • one of the greatest shows of all time. The acting, material, scenery, photography, and theme, are all first rate. What do the Brits think of it? My other favourite is " "keeping up appearences".

  • i love this show and its sound track!!!! =D

  • Sometimes, even on PBS they show this show but you have to keep an eye on the timing it is on, though.

  • Love this show. million times better than frasier

  • love brittish shows Australian shows just lack that certain something

  • I get Doc Martin on channel 9 out of St. Louis Mo. USA !!!!

  • if anyone's thinking of coming over to Cornwall (my home) anytime soon, you should definately visit Port Emmet, bloody handsome down there my lovers :)

  • @marcusosborne1 im coming down on the 13th, where is Port Emmet? I will have to go there!

  • ha ha! Having been on holiday to Cornwall last month I thought the Camelot hotel was Tintagel castle lol :0/

  • LOVE this, more please. Saw Doc Martin & Louisa to be married episode.. Friend told me they got "cold feet".

Also please put Fawlty Towers and To Manor Born on PBS Ch.26. Cannot get

Channel 22 here in Bethesda, MD

Keeping up Appearances is getting tired. As Time Goes By is a drag---she is

    always bitching, tiresome..

    SMP

  • you can watch this show on HULU , its a great show

  • These shows are available on public television in the USA. Check local listings.

  • @renfroe1980 Not all PBS stations show the same things. Where I live I get NYC, Philly, NJ and one I can't figure out where it is and I have never seen it on any of them.

  • I was an American student in Britain in the 70 and traveled throughout the entire British Isles. Hands down, Cornwall was my most favorite place and drew me back many times. It also is where I developed a serious taste for Cornish Mead. I think I'll go crack a bottle now.

  • HAHA o shit Martin's the shit hes great i love that guy his so funny man everyone mean to him, his a good dr. and actor this show is the best and coupling best british comdey shows ever. damm shes hott! GO Martin Go Playa! lol

  • 'Its a problem in the chest department, a, matter of... 'excess weight'...

'...Fewer carbohydrates, more protein, get some exercise, are we done?'

    HAHAHA!

  • I have been wondering for weeks now: what IS the weather like in Cornwall in the winters? Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? Beuller?

  • @fallinmichigan crappy......

  • "at least we know where your tits came from" lmao, golden line

  • LOVE DOC MARTIN ITS SO FUNNY

  • I'd love to live in a village like Port Isaac, but I understand that Cornwall doesn't get much snow, and I must have snow.

  • Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended. Great family and ironing view.

  • such a nice man!

  • is it only me who thinks he is well sexy! oh dear,I think I may be the only one who thinks this but who cares!

  • @JulieAP8 No, you are NOT the only one. :)

I don't find him handsome at all, but there is something oh so sexy about him!

  • @JulieAP8 No, U not the only one, I think hes sexy too. I love Martin Clunes, I think he is a very good actor and seems to bee a lovely person.

  • i went to were thye film doc martin 4 days ago and stood out side his surgery

  • I hate that there are great shows like this that brits get to see that are not run in the US, while BBC America is wasting our time with Star Trek. I mean, come on!

  • @Andraste77

I know what you mean. This is a great show, and I get BBC America. They broadcast shit like brother and sister having sex even though they know they are related. Also the show about dolls that look like real babies some wemen cart them around everywhere! Trash, And I hate Star Trek. I watch Doc Martin on PBS . The movies on BBC America are not British at all, they might have one British actor in the movie. BBC America I thought I was going to get great British movies!

  • @bloderme there on pbs in america or stream on line or net flix to your tv

  • @Andraste77 you are soo right,,,law n order and star trek,,,i want to see these shows on bbc america,,they play shows that we get on every other channell here...

  • @jdu6 there on pbs in america or stream on line or net flix to your tv

  • @Andraste77, Hollywood has a VERY specific agenda, of dumbing down and brainwashing the masses. Thats why you have the shows you do.

  • @Andraste77 you can watch it in the US

  • @waasaabaay12 Yes, now it is being shown on some PBS stations in the US. HOWEVER, At the time I left that comment, ages ago, it wasn't being shown in the US at all.

  • Love this show, pity Aust. doesn't get to see it.

  • @pngaia It's on UKTV on Foxtel all the time. The ABC also replays it once in a while.

  • cornwall is a stunning place i have been there many times and if you get a chance go to carbis bay its beautyful

  • I love Cornwall and have been to 'portwenn' which is really port isaac. Lovely place. x

  • Long video, much!

  • Cool. Thanks for the upload. I've never seen this episode before.

  • Cornwall is so beautiful. I've never been there but it's my dream to visit this place.

  • As a Cornishman born and bred, I have to be brutally honest. Although Cornwall is very beautiful, it's one of the most boring places you could wish to visit. It's even more boring to live here.

  • @ZomboDeZany Sounds like where I live. Apalachicola FL, white sand beaches, gulf of Mexico, cultural hell hole.

  • It was mine aswell. I don't see why people diss England so much. England is beautiful if you just explore. x

  • ARGH IM SOO irritated because I was born in and still always have and always will live in Bodmin! and its highly irritating that people on tv make stupid references to my town and then suddenly im stereotyped as being a mental-health patient. XD

  • I've been to Bodmin and think the people are very nice. Silly portwenn-ers! :L XD x

  • torrents

  • torrents?

  • Does anyone know where I can watch seasons 2 and 3, I read that it aired on the Hallmark channel in the US. I have a difficult time finding a place to watch British television on line. Thanks

  • @deannanevinsdean Stream all of the episodes on Netflix. That's where I found this great show!

  • That's right .

This is the first episode of first season

  • 06:13 "I've come from Delabole"... that's where I live! Woooo!

    Ok, stupid moment over now!

  • Wooot! I live in BODMIN XD

  • why is this in classic tv??

  • As an adjective, "classic" means either "exemplary of a particular style" or "exhibiting timeless quality". It in NO WAY has any relation to the word "old", as oh, so many people seem to think. For example, Super Smash Bros Brawl is only a year old, yet to some people may be seen more as a classic than Melee or the original.

  • yes it is the first episode

  • is that.... Barmy Fotheringay-Phipps?? :O

  • i had the first season on a dvd set and let my mom borrow it at Christmas and i still have not gotten it back, the second season comes on on dvd here in the state at the end of the month... the brits have all 3 seasons on dvd, can you possibly get them for youtube?

  • do you have episodes from all three season?

  • This is actually the first episode.

  • Really cute show. Kind of "Northern Exposure" like. Real fish out of water story. Hope to see additional episodes.

    Love the Brits

  • Upload more episodes

  • neat show~ wish their were more of the series,to watch....great storyline.........

  • Thank you so much for posting this; i love Doc Martin and i enjoyed the superior quality of the feed. PLEASE we need other episodes too !!!!

  • Really enjoyed this show. I had never heard of it.

Isn't there a way to have more of them added? Or does anyone know where else someone could watch more episodes of this show?

  • wow, how did you manage to cram the whole episode onto one video?

thanks so much for this -

i've never seen this episode !

  • brilliant thanks for the upload, more please.

  • I don't believe i'm watching TV on youtube.

  • surely that was epsidoe 1?

  • this show is not classic tv i was watching it the other day and it was set the year 2005

  • this is mis-labeled as the 4th episode of season 1, it's actually the first.

  • I liked it, I wish more of these were posted.

  • wow i am pretty shure this is not the Dick Van Dyke Show

  • why is this labeled dick van dyke show episode 4?

  • THIS IS NOT THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW.

  • that was a disapointment .... I thought I was going to see a Dick Vandyke show! So what happend?

  • That was a disapointment ... thought I was going to see a Dick Vandyke show! : (
