This is one of the best remixes of any OMD song - a perfectly faithful one that stays true to the original song, and, most importantly, it's corrected the pitch of the original (which by the band's own admission was speeded up, making Humphreys' vocals sound a bit high!!). It's a rare case of a remix being as great as the original!

Always preferred the OMD songs with Humphreys singing, has a better voice than McCluskey (who's a real bellend btw - who split the band with that Sailing on the 7 seas shit eh?). This is a God awful remix to be honest. Do yourselves a favour and seek out the original masterpiece.

THis is a worthy mix of the song. Not a Moby fan in any way but his remix here (taking the song down to its correct pitch fact fans) is spot on. After listening to this version so many times I now find it hard to listen to the sped up vocal of Humphreys on the original, so what I've done is a similar mix of the original song whereby I've lowered the pitch to match this version's and it now sounds perfect!

I am 11 years old and I think that this version sounds like it could have been made by using the Moby Mix software - simply make the track a bit longer, add some 'funky / ier' beats, a bit of good ol' fashioned vox loops and then suck out the charm. Boring, adds nothing to the original or to the lexicon of Earth music. We shouldn't be transmitting this stuff into space. Word.
