both those cars are just monsters and I don't know the name of the driver but hell can he ever drive! I'd be scared as hell to push those cars like that .. even in a straight line. Porsche has always made an awesome car that people dream of but one must admit that the recent 911 line ( and the Cayman S also ) are just jaw dropping beautiful both technically and performance wise. Also, and this is amazing, you can drive one daily. You can't do that with any other supercar.

Your right, I just bought a gt3. OMG the fastest most brutal acceleration I've ever felt. Theres no where to open the thing up (in a safe way) apart from the motorway and it jus keeps going and going!!! I love it

I don't know if you've ever done the math on that, but I just did. And I've found that you're right. MSRP on a 2010 911 GT3 is $112,200 which is only 84.49% of the MSRP of a 2010 GT3 RS. Not 95%. (MSRP of the 2010 911 GT3 RS is $132,800)

It is believed that the GT-R had racing tires, and who know what else to achieve those times. Porsche is a superior car in every way, and it shows. Nissan is a great car and all but its no Porsche..

Both shows are very good. I am am American living in the Uk as don't get a modern type show as good in the US. We get lots of shows showing you how to soup up and restore old muscle cars, which is neat in a different way. Tiff is great too!

I believe the insurance companies and safety nannies will make it difficult to produce shows like Top Gear and 5th Gear in the U.S. Think of the children. It sets a bad example and someone could get hurt. Motorweek isn't bad, but it is not as hardcore as the UK shows, and they test a lot of econo boxes.

5th gear has only just maybe got better in terms of testing cars quite recently, it used to be real crap, they would focus on things like the latest mpg from a diesel golf and things as were top gear would destroy the planet with evil supercar, at the end of the day i knew what i wanted to watch, also the camera work and cinematics of top gear are just amazing, much much better then fithgear, sometimes topgear has a real crap episode and other times its amazing
