In my opinion, the 80s had a deeper talent pool filled with all-time greats battling it out, while the 90s was a more watered down era where the 80s talents were beginning to retire. Well, just last year...he had a multitude of injuries. Ankle, knee (no lift), broken shooting index which had to be heavily bandaged on a splint (like a cast & couldn't bend it) for the most of season including plyoffs. Prior seasons he dislocated his right pinky that had to be tied to his ring finger for support. Let's not forget he played 3 years non-stop (3 finals, fiba, olympics). He'll be back to form once rested. Kobe's fortitude and dedication is the best in all NBA history.

Well, just last year...he had a multitude of injuries. Ankle, knee (no lift), broken shooting index which had to be heavily bandaged on a splint (like a cast & couldn't bend it) for the most of season including plyoffs. Prior seasons he dislocated his right pinky that had to be tied to his ring finger for support. Let's not forget he played 3 years non-stop (3 finals, fiba, olympics). He'll be back to form once rested. Kobe's fortitude and dedication is the best in all NBA history.
