I guess you guys miss the point even if a black comedian says it the racial charge isnt as potent behind it please remember that a large portion of white people are really RACIST AS HELL so with that being said if I knew him I prob wouldnt be offended just jokes but you never know with these coick suckers he could be one of those bubba get the gun types Im just saying
Im white and I used to laugh at Richard Pryors white jokes,I remember having his live in concert show on eight track, where he compared black and white funerals,it was funny.
Man I'm black and I thought what the dude said about Obama was hilarious. Yeah it was race oriented, but he didn't mean anything negative, he was trying to be funny. He succeeded.
that was not racist that was just funny. ill be the first to give a racist shit, but again that was just great comedy.two blk policeman, its already starting, and water into kool-aid! that was funny as fuck!
@dc748 I know huh? If you're a white man, people can say any nasty thing they want to us. Black people can call us honky and cracker and whitebread or whatever and it's supposed to be ok. Women of any race can say ANYTHING they want and we're supposed to just take it. But if we say anything back in our defense then we're racist or sexist or whatever. Thats a supersize load of you know what. And they wonder why seemingly ordinary white guys suddenly snap and go on killing sprees........
Well, about every Black comic "crosses the line". What you are saying is it is OK for Blacks to say anything but Whites can't say anything. It is about time Whites start saying something....loud and clear.....
c'mon racist? man it's just a joke. u gotta admit that guy was funny. how many jokes black comedians made about white ppl? a lot, and they were funny too, so just laugh about it and forget about it tomorrow....
Here here, I'm black and as liberal as they come, but I've never lost my cool laughing at any of the rooftop comedy videos until the second guy started. Gotta have a sense of humor about this stuff.
You obviously are of the mindset that Obama is the "savior", hence the reason you didn't find it funny like the average person would; Democrat, Independent or Republican. Only the extreme bias from someone lauding Obama's every move would be offended.
"Only the extreme bias from someone lauding Obama's every move would be offended."
LMAO, yeah and anyone who criticized Bush was suffering from Bush Derangement Syndrome.
Lets just put anyone who supports or criticizes politicians into extremist pigeon holed stereotypes; hate Bush, you got BDS; like Obama, you're a moonie zealot.
Brilliant, then we don't have to address or even think about the issues. Just label the opposition and move on.
The issue at hand is a comedy bit, not a discussion on political ideology, so your point is rather moot. And yes, if people were offended when comedians were taking shots at Bush, then they also were viewing with an extreme bias.
"The issue at hand is a comedy bit, not a discussion on political ideolog"
I understand that position but so much political commentary is 'disguised' as comedy so it really can't be shelter from the 'comedy' itself being analyzed politically. Be it, Jon Stewert, Rush LImbaugh, or Glen "just kidding' Beck comedy is not a pass for political rebuttal
(also several of the comedian's 'jokes' were at the expense of his supporters more then Obama so it is natural for them to offended)
Or to put another way, when the jokes about Bush being stupid swayed over to how his base was composed mainly of inbred, poorly educated, racist hicks then it was quite natural & appropriate for both 'the hicks' and the educated supporters of Bush to be offended.
None of it is productive & simply poisons the well of rational discourse.
So to all the haters on both sides, comedic or not, F' off!
true conservatives have not found their candidate in bush or mccain. both have pandered to illegals by supporting ''amnesty'' for them breaking the law and invading our country. we conservatives loved reagan however he gave amnesty to around 2 million in 1983. the stipulation was that the border be closed - or at least enforced so heavily that no more illegals could enter the u.s.. that never happened. in fact, it encouraged much more illegal immigration. now we have 30 mill. and a real problem.
Reminds me of a joke that a comedian called John Bishop told about two days after Obama won.
When asked if he had noticed any changes since Obama was elected, he responded "I knew that something was different, because the next day, I had to sit at the back of the bus".
No offence meant btw, I just found both jokes funny, and one reminded me of the other.
I wanted to hear more From Mike Armstrong he's the best.
