  • Spinners rule!!! This song is so awesome!!! I love it!!! When I was a little boy (about 4 or 5) and this song came on the radio I would sing to the music (messing up all kinds of words) and sway back and forth. My mother would laugh so hard she would have tears running down her face!!! She likes this song to this day! Good times!!! Great memories!!! All I have left to say is I love the Spinners because they bring back my childhood to me!!!

  • i love this song its one of my favs

  • Man, I wish I could find a woman to share this sexy song with. But nobody seems to know of it! Damn classic!

  • I remember hearing this song for the first time when I was 9 in the school canteen sometime December 1979 or January 1980, my uncle even had an LP of the Spinners

  • OMG! i love love love this song.. it's one of mine and my boyfriends FAVORITES! :)

  • yeaaah!!

  • The Spinners, what a great, great soul group ever.

These brothas were gifted, soulful and so classical.

My favourite has to be Mighty Love.

The Spinners turned disco in the late seventies with Working Back to You Babe.

    The Spinners are the greatest.

  • I remember this song when i was 9..when my stepdad.use 2 bet the shit out of me.but know.he's gone..man this song brings back memories

  • What a song!! just makes you wanna roll the windows down & turn it up! Thanks Spinners for the memories.

  • i used to hear this song EVERY MORNING on the radio..i was 5 at the time....had no clue about the song....i love it .....i love the memories

  • I've liked this song even since they played it on the BT ad!

  • The best song of the post-Philippe years. Unabashedly disco. Little John was a good addition - did his own thing, had his own sound, didn't try to copy Philippe, which he couldn't have done anyway. This is how a personnel change ought to be done.

  • Glad I was a part of The Spinners experience. Some of the best music ever!

  • like this version better than four seasons version. more disco'y

  • I like this version and the Four Seasons.

  • Who is the one singing lead? I really like his voice!!

  • Girl you got me! I would have to look it up. I just love the song.

  • That was John Edwards, who replaced Phillippe (Soul) Wynne on January 4, 1977. His first (recorded) appearance as the Spinners lead singer was on the song "Honey, I'm in Love With You," which was on the Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow LP.

  • It sure is! It's only The Spinners that my parents enjoyed when they were growing up.

  • :) :)

  • One of their very best!

Several years ago before music videos became popular, I seem to remember seeing one on TV with the Spinners dressed in their classic red/white attire: French Foreign Legion uniforms, bare footed, walking single file across the ridge of a desert sand dune singing this number. Anyone else remember that?

  • Excellent trip down memory lane. Brings back nice memories of the late 70s.

  • Great song

  • i luv this song and its very old and it use to be very popular in old times and my mom its her fav song so each time she hears it she dances and sings with it and when its on the radio she puts it at the loudest (max)and sings with it and tells me that when she was 15 she used to hold hands with a guy she likes and the song was playing in the same time.
