Its like in Metal Gear where in the end,

that Commander guy turns into a frog XD

I tihnk its a glitch where the enemy somehow starts

with a wrong sprite and only changes back to the right sprite

after he has to "stand up" after getting hit.

I doubt it should have been Vader at all.

Since when was Darth Vader a SCORPION?! I don't think that happened in any of the movies. That didn't happen in the Special Edition, or any addition in this universe- or any others for that matter.

There's an awesome cheat code for this game but you CAN'T EVER use it on an emulator :(

You need an actual FamiCom (yes FamiCom not an NES) to do it.

First you insert the game on your FamiCom, then BEFORE you turn it on, remove the small plug covering the FamiCom's expansion port adapter, the place where you plug in the light gun that has rows of pins in it etcetera.

Now turn the game on & as the "Namco" screen is being shown slide a small coin IN BETWEEN THE ROWS OF PINS that make up the expansion port adapter.

Don't worry this isn't dangerous & won't damage your FamiCom. As you do so the game's screen will turn black (or grey) with two numbers shown at the middle top of the screen.

You've just accessed the game's stage select cheat code!

The numbers correspond to levels in the game! So just select a number to go to a specific area in the game.

Incidentally, you need to do this cheat to see the game's BEST! Ending which corresponds to how the movie actually ends. You see the size & color of the medals & who gets them change in the ending depending on how fast you finished the game as well as how many times you died.

So the best ending, done with zero deaths & in under five minutes nets you the ending where Luke AND Han Solo gets the biggest gold medal in the game.
