I remember doing an outdoor festival in the mid-1990s. For one of my sets I decided that people needed to hear a solid hour of 808/303 madness so I proceeded to throw down "Dealer" in all of its glory. For the next 55 minutes there was nothing but Unit Moebius, BH808303, Woody McBride, and I-F records bumping out of the system as people moved to the beat. I have photos of the set but no audio. I really wish someone recorded it because it was rough, rugged, and had bass like an earthquake.
I think I once downloaded something like that from you from the old GD forum. But is was much shorter and I think limited to UM and BH808303.. That was a great mix.. Lost it unfortunately..
I think I still have that mix somewhere archived among about 500 CDs. I once spent three days trying to track down a lot of those old mixes then gave up after searching through about 150 gigabytes of CDs. Yeah, some YEAR I'll find it :(.
I think you totally misunderstood it, i just recognised the way the video looked. If anything, see it as a compliment someone recognised your style :) Not accusing you of anything, i love these vids!
Oh yeah I still have this 12! I bought it years ago and treasure it to this day. I remember doing an outdoor festival in 1996 and playing a full BH808303 and Unit Moebius set. Nothing but badass 808303 trax pumping through the speakers blowing everyone's minds. Those were the days.
1995 || BUNKER 021 Duracel +/- Interr-Ference (Video) - bunker label - The Hague (nl) || graphics: marcel kaars, elout de kok, menno van os (duracel)
I remember Marcel did the first clip - tub whirling animation, me the 2nd one with the grids moving around. I think clips 3-5 were combination efforts from footage of me, Marcel Kaars, and video shoots menno(Duracel) had shot as well, gotta find the tape though, I got it somewhere stashed in my library.
isent the name of this track "Candy man" (I'll fix you right up with this mix, MIX) ? :)
