I found a cannon ball that may have actually been from one of the Twin Sister cannons buried in the mud not far from the San Jacinto Monument almost thirty years ago. It is an iron ball approximately 1.5 inches in diameter, and though there is no way to verify its source, there is a good chance that I have a really cool piece of Texas history!.
Now your grandkids want to shoot it too, right? LOL!! I bet that little cannon jumps back a lot more when it's actually got a projectile in it.
