thanks, my teacher explained this in school, but i couldnt pay attendion due to this really annoying kid in my class, and was too mad and irrated to pay much attention, so if i say... the wind is cold as the orange flavoured popcile lingring on my tongue... would that be a simile? and if i said... my dad barked at me... would that be a metaphor?
