This is not 'one of the fastest improvising' solos in the world.

This is not improvised. This guy will have practised this exact riff for hours on end and plays it the same each time

As a guitarist of 15 years (aged 19) I totally respect the hard work these guys put into their craft, but to me it's musically unimpressive. The odd sweep and shred here and there in a well structured, technical solo that also IMO MUST come from the heart, from the soul, and this sort of technique blows people away.

If you can not detect any emotions, that is not the composer's problem, but yours. Clearly the emotions of this solo are evident in what it took for this person to become so skilled. Emotions in music are such a cliché, people forget what emotions are.

Obviously, this is not about the "sounds" guys, it's about the "skill." This guy could play something beautiful, but is showing off his technical ability at the moment. Anyone who understands this would realize what a high level of guitar he is playing. People confuse technical skill with musical ability. Play this on the piano, the same notes, at the same speed. Nobody would call it music, but for some reason they do on guitar.

At best its scale runs, alternating scale runs, back n forth scale runs and it ultimately fucking blows. Like all "MUSIC" that panders to this "technical is musical" mindset.
