this song IS the sound of a relationship ending, or has just recently ended. it's a horrible time. this song hit me at one of those times. it nails every emotion i went through. it also happened to be by one of my favorite artists. it made me love her even more. glad i'm not the only one.
Excellent song. Well done! Thanks for sharing. Sorry for their fall-out. They were quite good and I think they knew it , but too late . I did not keep up with them over the years. I am glad BOTH their music paths are alive and kicking.
2:36 - 2:46 ...I love the juxtaposition between her sweet side and her bad-ass self. This is a good example of what makes Siobhan so appealing! She is predictably unpredictable.
I never realised how amazingly talented this woman was. I love Bananarama but I never really listened to Siobhan's solo stuff. Her voice may not brilliant or a big range she can still do a lot with it. Maybe it's better with Bananarama being Keren and Sara and Siobhan on her own. They are all amazing!
Great to read all the positive comments about La Shuv - the most talented & kindest woman in music. I'm awfully tired of people who are all pro-Marcy attacking Shuv & calling her egomaniacal Nothing could be further from the truth. Now, when we will all get to buy the solo album! I love Bitter Pill (esp. the guitar mix), Pulsatron, etc. Siobhan is ever-changing, completely underrated. Really bites how music these days is all about lo-talent child-porn like those Mickey Mouse Club freaks, etc.
I always love the song but it makes me a little sad, thinking about Siobhan's lyrics.. her marriage in trouble, the split with Marcy, her record label of 14 years expecting her to either write Hormonally Yours Part 2 or become Celine Dion, instead of backing her vision.. what does she know? She only helped them move a bajillion records. Grrrr.. all that and then a bout of insecurity over her singing ability. I think she sings beautifully and she has something to say! /rant

I just love this song--lyrically, it sounds like Siobhan wrote it just for me, because it's where I'm at currently in my life.

I keep coming back to watch this. It's well put together and Shuv is so beautiful to look at and listen to.

Thank you for posting this video. Siobhan is a very talented and beautiful woman.
Thanks to people like you and others on YouTube the general public is able to watch the truly talented artists like Siobhan.
One more thing - I met Bananarama at a record autograph signing back in the 80s and she was by far and away the nicest of the three.

With all due respect to Keren and Sara, Siobhan was the driving force behind the band. When she left it just wasn't the same.

Yeah, it wasn't the same. But I kinda preferred them as a duo. Siobhan was better on her own.

Who says she can´t sing. Her voice is beutifull, one of my favourite voices of all times, sensual and misterious. Great video Spicy!.
