  • Carrara is the my city in Italy

  • You have skills boy!

  • Puh tones of CO² xD Jus kidding.

How Long was the rendering Time for the First Part ? 8 Hours ?!

    And : Nice Work

  • Excellent clouds and overall animation and effects!

  • Wow.... it looks expensive

  • amazing

  • hey check out my carrara 3d vid!!!! watch?v=5Au_O4kWxkc

  • Wow, This is amazing! I just ordered Carrara 6 Pro and now I can't wait for it to arrive!

  • I have carrara 6 and maya software. Carrara is very easy to use. I started animating right away.

Maya may be a better program but it has a steaper learning curve and I am still learning. I would recomend carrara to anyone who is just starting off.

  • Excelente trabajo..

  • true. i learned in maya but i bought carrara because maya cost more then i was willing to spend. but you have to say that for a program that costs like 1/5 of maya thats pretty impressive.

  • make that a 3 1/4's less then what maya would cost, and thats the complete version. The unlimited version is 4.5k *shudders*.

I too have used maya over the years (via trial versions/PLE), but unfortunately I might as well stick with either this software, or SoftImage.

  • it's also a lot more expensive.

  • Very nice. I liked the opening flyover mountain peaks & clouds and the backside detail. The creature was cool, but short lived - you might want to add more to that.

    Did you use only Carrara?

  • hey in carrara 6 pro can u import character models from zbrush for male and female etc and animate with them?

  • superwork , love the fly through the clouds .

  • Wow I am very impressed. As others mention, great camera animation. I've only previously seen results like this in Vue, nice to know it's do-able in Carrara. If you could post some more tips on your camera animation technique (video cap tutorial?) I would very appreciate it.

  • Excellent work! Absolutely beautiful. The clouds are awsome as well as the camera work. You have single handedly sold more versions of this software than any other artist with this clip. Very inspiring.

  • Wow, I just ordered 5 and didn't even know it could do this!

  • Gee, I think I really have to get into Carrara after seeing this, especially with the ocean simulator in version 6. Well done!

  • Top quality clouds! As michimoro says, excellent camera work too.

  • Cool! I really like your camera work on this. I am getting started with 3d animation (just got Carrara) and am wondering if you may have any tips on things to keep in mind when deciding on where to move the camera, or how the shots should be taken.

  • I try to approach camera movements with a "real life" feeling - just try to imagine you are realy in the scene moving the camera. This means, that in real life your camera would be mounted to a vehicle for moving shots. And in this case needs to follow the physics of real life. So keep your camera movements "dirty" - add jerks and "false" movement to your camera moves.

  • Awesome!. I am so impressed that you rendered that with C5. Great camera work, lighting, etc. What kind of rendering setup (network?, or multiprocessor?,speed, ram, etc) and how long did all the final renders take.
