  • The Khorodig song's composer is my late mother, Ogenee Adjemian-Kradjian from Aleppo Syria. She composed 13 songs. She had 4 of her songs recorded on LP 35 years ago including this one.

Thank you for living the song.

  • @TheSeta123 Hi Seta, this is John Tarpinian, I recorded this song about 34 yrs ago with singer Robert "Boghos" Tashjian and Clarinetist Souren Baronian on the Hye Inspiration record. Bob was born in Syria. Maybe they knew each other? If you send me a message and provide a mailing address I will send you the CD. j

  • same as arabs

  • One of my good friends, Ara Dinkjian composed a song. He had five different versions of the song (Armenian, Greek, Israeli, Turkish and Kurdish). Maybe by now the Arabic words to it. I wouldn't be surprised. There is and has been in the past copying of songs by different nationalities. I am sure there are American songs that Arabs put words to and maybe the other way around. This goes on with food, music and other customs. If I find the composer I'll let you know. j
