The Empire probably would have won in Episode 6 if the Emperor wasn't stupid and let the Rebels get information on weaknesses of the Death Star 2, and just let the shuttle slip past their defenses. What an idiot!

But remember that the Emperor only sent down so many to take on a small strike force and either didn't know about the Ewoks, or just didn't see them as a threat. 2 of them, including Chewie hijacked a fricken AT-ST walker! WTF!

Darth Vader had the potential to become the most powerful Sith Lord in the history of the galaxy. If he had not been injured on Mustafar he would have been twice as powerful as the Emperor when he reached his full strength. However, even though Vader was weakened he was still a powerful Sith roughly 8/10 the strength of the emperor. Vader was able to kill 4 jedi to including 2 masters by himself on Kessel.

@deankiller1 I recall Anakin/Vader being refered to as the Chosen One, as he ends up being redeemed by his son and saving the galaxy. As to why Galen has become so powerfull at such an early age is a bit of a mystery, most Jedi spend an entire lifetime to achive that level of power. I would surmise though, that since Force sensitivity is genetic, that his abilities are a mutation of sorts.

You know what would be a good movie? Or at least a series? The intermediary period between RotS and ANH, showing how Darth Vader became Darth Vader, and not pussy Hadyn Christensen in a Vader halloween costume! Come on! The required awesome for leveling up to that status of badass would make it a series with a never before seen HSQ*!!

All it would need is the original series's George Lucas working on it, not the evil skynet version who green-lit the prequels!

you ever played The Force Unleashed? it's about Vaders secret apprentice, codenamed Starkiller, and his involvment with Vader and his path through the Force.

in the vary first level, you get to play as Lord Vader, sent to Kashyyyk (wookiepedia for the spell check! hehe) to kill a Jedi hiding there. it way sweet! you can even kill your own men with no consequence!

Ain't enough! Whoopteedoo, killing mooks! And that's one level! The rest of the game you play the Mary Sue-tacular Starkiller! What I think would be wincake is if a movie or series shows Vader hunting down and slaughtering the 100-or-so Jedi that survived, how frigging cool would that be? Watching Vader gain his villain stride. It could save the character in my mind.

The Force Unleashed had a good story. You could also tell that Vader wasn't quite Vader yet. He was still too nice. But eventually by the end he was at the point where we see him in A New Hope. He was a badass.
