Where in the world did you hear that it is against the law to own a parrot in the state of TN? I live in TN born and bred and have had parrots/amazons for the last 26yrs. We even have birdfairs here that sell all types of birds. Go back to the source that told you that and tell them to do their research instead of spreading un-true rumors!

Different states have different laws regarding the sales, ownership and/or breeding of Quaker parrots. I have never heard of any laws for Yellow Nape amazons in the States
