It is. I produced the recording. It was recorded at DELLARTE, they have a studio in the basement connected to the stage. All drums, vox, bass guitar and some synths are live. Strngs are playback. Enjoy!

It is amazing watching her perform live. She makes it interesting because of the cool sounds she makes with her voice. Better than hearing the same beat while the whole band just just jumps up and down! :o)

I know she's going to read this, so yes, all of us who love your music should buy the CD and recommend it to our friends. You should be able to make a good living from your talent without selling out and going commercial. Keep the music the way it is. Even middle-aged folks like me like it.

Considering the band Portishead hasn't released anything in almost 9 years I must say it's about time someone else picks up the torch. Elsiane represents one of the most inspirational group in a long time. I hope they are around for years to come and to think they come from Montreal, only 2 hours from where I live. I hope to catch them live soon.

Sorry man but I just listened to some songs from Moonraker and it's not at all the same thing. It's much more electronica than anything. Listen to Elsiane and you will discover a wonderful singer, a great drummer, a bass that is at the forefront and keyboards that remind me of The Cure's "Desintegration" which is one of the best albums ever. Thanks anyhow for the recommendation, it was nice of you to offer something. Finally, the wait is almost over, Portishead's new album will be out soon.

Yea I'm looking forward to Portisheads album too. I really like Elsiane, I think she's gonna be making pretty great stuff in the future. Though a comment on Moonraker. Each song from Moonraker sounds like it could fall under a different genre. Yea they have electronica, but they also have trip-hop stuff. I haven't found another band that's as hard to categorize as Moonraker. Too bad they split up so that's not gonna do anyone any justice. Nice 'talking' to you. =D
