Yea you need to do somthing about thoes 6x9's they sell cups that go be hind them to make an encosure for them and are pretty cheap I can't remember what they are called I always owned pickups and didn't need them because my speakers are all in the doors and back wall

Definately needs them. Those 6x9's are getting thrashed. my rear dash speakers were destroyed in that way

Now obviously I know more than just a sub and amp come into play in a car audio system. obviously there is size, quality, and tuning of the enclosure. Amount of air that the subs will have to move/size of the trunk and or car, the guage/quality of your wiring, how good your grounds are as well as your cars electrical system, etc....

Sure they are loud when you put the camera right next to the subs...but what about in front of the car, to the side, etc...

This is mainly to let other people know how different cars produce bass outside the car and stuff.

@diablo2369 he is sayin the subs are gonna over power the 6x9's since they are in the same space as the subs, look at @ 0:31 and there is no way the subs aren't affecting those, so maybe build a lil box underneath the 6x9's to protect them

Damn what db you think you're hitting? I just built a 5.2 net vol. box for my two 12" type R's tuned at ~27hz and it hits harder then when I had a 5.1 net vol. with 3 of them at 33hz. I'm sure I'm around 143db. But I'm wondering if I can fit 4 of them in my trunk. I def. need to dynomat my shit. Props man nice sounds!

I'm interested in the box dimensions. i only have a 3 foot by 3 foot wide by 16 inches tall space for a box. i want to go with 4 12's definitely and maybe do a ported box like Steve Meade's. But hit me up i;m interested, i'm trying to design a good box.

Yeah, I can imagine. Looks like a really tight fit, and needs at least three people to lift it...and it would suck if it sounded worse than the way it is now. But there's always a chance it could sound better too.

It's warm enough now to give it a try though. Let us know how it goes if/when you try it.
