  • sounds soooo much Better!!!!

  • perfect original is ok

  • @radori1684597 i agree mel its perfect makes u think of a good fight

  • Best than the original.

  • I don't think this is a fitting battle theme. I think it would be a perfect theme for Sigma's fortress, though.

  • @MasterDragon130 I agree with you. This just doesn't have the right beat for a boss theme, but it would be absolutely incredible for a fortress theme.

  • zero,x,sinas,and alia did'nt like it

  • Sounds like something you'd hear in Guilty Gear.

And I'm an arc system works fan.

    Epicness...

  • @gamehhh012 I agree with you except for X6. I honestly think that game was terrible!

  • Looks like the 306 Maverick Hunters, and I, must take out the 4 Mavericks. Thumbs up if you are a Maverick Hunter.

  • mind:blown.

  • this is fucking awesome

  • i want to hear this song every single time i wake up in the morning when i go change my clothes to school

  • this is really epic man.

  • Make the song of zero intro stage in mmx4 please!!

  • Personally I love all X games so this is awesome to me!

  • -attempts to put megaman x8 in snes-

  • Now how could anyone dislike this?

  • Legitimately sounds like MMX2's OST. Amazing.

  • how did you obtained these sounds with reason?? nice cover by the way

  • The begining sounds like ZX boss theme

  • Good wally 8 music =)

  • SIGMA SOUND

  • True Sigma sound a bit like the Copy Sigma one, but with some difference.

  • Where can I get these Megaman SNES-style instruments? Are they

    VSTs???????

  • did any1 notice this is a remix of Megaman X Boss Battle too? listen to the original beginning of BOTH

  • This is Awesome! can you do 'VS Lumin~The second form' theme?

  • yes, X4-X6 are perfection, but X1-X3 is classic, so a X9 would be perfect if it is in a classic style

  • @gamehhh012 Well, maybe X4 & X5 are perfection. X6 was just...no, and X7 was a good concept that wasn't executed correctly. X8 was a breath of fresh air after them.

  • @gamehhh012 i would exclude x6 from perfection,since its really a piece of shit,however,all 5 megaman x games are masterpieces to me,my fav is 1 of course,and then 4...

  • @MotherPunker970 Well funny you say that because the creator and brain behind the megaman series, (Fujiwara I think his name is), wanted to stop Rockman X at X5 but Capcom kept going with it without his permission or help for that matter. That could be why not only the story crashes, but the quality of the games themselves :P

  • @Overwa7ch ...isnt that just the case of x6-x8?he completed the story behind x series with x5,and moved on to zero series, but capcom still wanted to make mmx games,so they made x6-x8...

  • @MotherPunker970 Yup. That's what I said. It's true. You'll notice abrupt story changes as well as different concepts of gameplay throughout x6-x8 which many say kills the franchise. IMO, the only thing that's up to par with the rest of the series is the music but I'd expect as much from Capcom.

  • @Overwa7ch I didn't know much about the story in the series, since I started with X4. But then my friends at the time got me into the previous 3, and I was hooked. Then I played X5 and was totally satisfied.

Then there was X6. The only thing that kept me playing was saving all the injured Reploids. But I hated - HATED - what they did with it. I won't even start on X7. I hardly remember even playing that.

And X8 won't be touched. Capcom's kinda on my shit list right now.

  • @Chaotichism Don't worry. X6 and X7 may have sucked, but X8 is great. Disregard those 2 games from memory and play X8. Particularly disregard X6. To be honest, I don't hate X7 THAT much. X6 is my least favorite. That game had horrid level design, reploid saving can be so poorly designed that you actually HAVE to play some stages with Zero, example, not getting the jump upgrade mcdoodle for X for Gate Lab I. And MY GOD, Zero "hid and repaired himself." HE WAS A GODDAMN TORSO! HOW!

    Fuck X6.

  • @Saber698 Really now? I'm considering getting it now. I'm not even into the story anymore. X6 kept me playing, but it was just tedious. And please don't mention Gate Lab I...I'd scoop that part of my brain out if I had to.

But if X8 had fixed the previous issues of X7, then I'll gladly get my hands on it. A bit of the story looked kinda interesting, too. Just kinda.

  • @Chaotichism X7 and X8 are completely different. Axl is useful, it's all 2D (just with 3D graphics, which I call 2.5D gamplay :P), The story they do better with IMO, they just have kind of a huge cliffhangar at the end, but no spoilers...It plays much more like the classics, or more X4 X5, it's nothing like X7. The stages actually feel like they progress. And don't worry, no reploid saving. The levels move much faster to. My only gripes is how cryptic the rare metals are, and Gigavolt's stage./:

  • @Saber698 Alright. I'm convinced. Gotta find a place that still sells this game, and I'm ON IT.

Thanks for the info. I'm definitely looking forward to the music they have on it, too. Though X6 sucked, I DID kinda like the tunes on it. Very varied, though too varied in some aspects.

  • @Chaotichism Oh yeah, X6 had some good music. 'N fact, a lotta games that suck DO have good music. X6, Sonic '06, Fester's Quest, Cheetamen even!

Also, if you wanna take a look at like gameplay to see if you want it, just YouTube search it if you want. :)

  • @Chaotichism I agree with you 100%. I mean people CANN like x6-x8, but IMO, it kinda lost the quality. Capcom has a knack for overkilling too. Just look at DMC5, I mean come on... lol Dante looks like... I won't even get into that. hahaha

  • @Overwa7ch It's a bit stupid to include X8 with the rest of the trash just because of the track record. After 3 everything went downhill til 8. 8 was special. Brought back the harsher less super pretty enviroments and characters, all that pretty shine from the PS1 games was gone. Brought back the synth rock music, vile came back in ride armor, etc. It was an old school extravaganza. Plus it had the excellence of Mark Gatha and Dave Petitte in it. That's Domon Kasshu and Master Asia.

  • @AlexTheSoutherner Ehh....After replaying X8 I see what you're saying but it kinda lost it's quality for ME. js. Glad there was none of that 3D bs or anything, but for ME, the quality dropped at x5/x6. Call it stupid, idc. That's just an opinion.

  • @gamehhh012 I kinda wanna move on in life, i'm tired of all these old style Megaman games. They were great while they lasted but i don't want to play and live in a state of complete nostalgia, bring MM to ps3

  • @lordoYYH255 The thing with the MM formula is that it doesn't warrant anything more than is necessary. MMX7 had all this flashy 3D, but it amounted to nothing since the games were still in classic side scrolling formula.

  • @WHATISUTUBE yes i understand but time moves on and you can only make the most of what comes with it. HD collections of the old games would be nice but i rather them do something new and fuck up then have the same old shit.

  • @lordoYYH255 I also understand your point, and I can half-relate since I like innovation as well. But at the same time, the past shouldn't be abandoned and done away with merely because it has been a while. It happens culturally all teh time; something grows old and out of style, but a couple of years down the line nostalgia takes over and it makes a bit of a comeback. Whether it be fashion or music.

  • @gamehhh012 Perfection? That's the best joke I've ever heard. X1-3 are perfection. 4-6 were subpar. You can put 8 with 1-3 since it had way more in common with them than any of the rest.

  • @gamehhh012 I thought X4-X8 were terrible?

  • If a Megaman X9 is made to bridge the gap between X8 and Command Mission, then I personally think it should be in a graphical style like X8 and Command Mission. A more plot-driven series like Megaman X shouldn't try to invoke retro, in my opinion.

  • good but a little fast

  • I just did a Extended version of this song, for your Extended Music maniacs =)

  • The style and speed likes more the copy sigma battle

  • The main reason I prefer 16-bit Megaman X over 32-bit Megaman X is the music. (just to make clear, I don't think X4 through X8 had bad music, I just highly prefer the SNES music)

I prefer the looks of the 16-bit sprites to be honest but the 32-bit ones are good as well. I would want MMX9 to be 16-bit mainly for the music.

  • @Niurp I'm the exact opposite.

X4 -X6 were both visually and audibly perfect to me.

While I love the SNES games(I like X1's remake more than it though).

X4-X6 just struck so many right chords for me.

  • i prefer this version way more than the original

  • Is it weird that I think this sounds better than what people might call the "higher quality" version?

  • i can't listen to this song without imagining X and Zero playing guitars

  • This theme just got an...uh, upgrade? \m/

  • This is the peak of badassery.

  • You should try to make the Copy Sigma battle.

  • i got the PC version of MMX7 on my PC, it is slow as hell while MMX8 on my PC runs perfectly fine without any slowdowns o.o

BTW! MegaMan X8 is uper underrated!

  • Hey...can you or some other 8-bit freak make some megaman x7 music 8-bit style or 16 bit style, i mean c'mon what wrong with x7

  • This is the bomb!!

  • Will you ever do an SNES Remix of Vile's X8 theme?

  • I prefer sigma battle theme in X7 :l

  • This actually sounds like a combination of Copy Sigma's and Real Sigma's themes. It sounds badass.

  • Too Short!

  • 2 People are Mavericks :O

  • @arbucias93

Oh my... now they are 4 mavericks !

    Lets go hunters !

  • @arbucias93 Make it 4. The virus is spreading.

  • @HylianDefender yeh. Looks like it's spreading fast. :O Oh well! Still a sweet song.

  • @arbucias93 now 4 people are Mavericks ITS SPREADING!!!

  • Make It Longer!

    Make It Longer!

    Please!

  • OMF!!!!!!!!!!!G This is perfect had X8 been released in the SNES

  • I have heard alot of people say that having Lumine as a final boss was a big disapointment and not really the old classic sigma second form.

  • @sonnylow0 that's totally true. However, to be honest Lumine being the final boss was a major twist in the story (something the Megaman X series has had a lack of) and it was a great change of pace. We have all come to the end of a Megaman X game and guessed that it was some form of Sigma we were gonna fight. But I, as an MMX fan, can say that I was totally thrown off when I beat 2nd Sigma and Lumine revealed himself as the final boss. I was blown away by the change since it hasn't in so long

  • @joker112684 This. Coupled with the parallels between Lumine and Lucifer, and his positively badass final form... Yeah. Dethroning Sigma was pretty taboo but he pulled it off.

Besides, Sigma was just some average Maverick Hunter who got infected with a virus... Lumine is the Robot Devi-oh God I just linked Lumine with Futurama's robot devil, the character is ruined forever.

  • @Shinkada

...Sigma was the leader of the Maverick Hunters who got infected with a virus when he punched out a berserk Zero after something like an hour long fight and after getting his arm cut off.

Meanwhile, Lumine is just a really pretentious new generation reploid.

  • @BlitzerBoom Yes, Sigma was originally a very cool character. 7 games ago. He had a cool backstory but he used up his points.

I'll admit Lumine's backstory is currently shitty, but so was Sigma's when he was first introduced. I'm sure given a few more games Lumine would grow to be better developed, and he certainly already has the visual awesome down pat.

  • @Shinkada

7 games ago? You mean in X1, where all we knew was that he was the leader of the Maverick Hunters?

I'd say he only really started to decay after X5. Hell, X6 even made him a zombie.

Also, Lumine is kind of sort of totally dead (though that Axl thing was kind of odd, Command Misson showed it turned out to be nothing). Hell, so is Sigma for that matter.

  • @BlitzerBoom Yeah. Leader of the Maverick Hunters, that's pretty much all anyone knew, similar to how all anyone really knows of Lumine is that he was badass enough to use Sigma as a pawn. Both characters pretty cool, and both underdeveloped at first. The Zero Virus crap about Sigma wasn't revealed until... X4? 5?

Anyway you can't say Lumine OR Sigma are dead anymore than you could say Sigma was dead after every other X game.

  • @Shinkada

Sigma survived through the Maverick Virus his body emitted after his deaths.

His body is currently stuck on the moon.

Barring new-gen shenanigans, he's gone. Pretty sure there was an official statement too.

As for Lumine, Command Mission takes place after X8 and nothing was mentioned of him, so yeah.

  • @BlitzerBoom Command Mission was also a crazy spinoff that didn't follow any Megaman conventions.

New-gen shenanigans are pretty much a given in MM, and Lumine was actually pretty well received given how much X8 generally wasn't, so I think if they DO make an X9 he'll be back.

  • @Shinkada

    Spinoff or not, it's canonical.

Besides, Zero, ZX, and Legends also take place after X, and Sigma/Lumine/New Generation Reploids have no appearance there.

  • This song needs to be longer. D:

  • this is better than the original theme and better than megaman x7 and megaman x8 xD

  • X1-X3

    Nuff Said.

  • too fast....Still great...but not as deadly..if you get me.

  • Sick!!!! Just listened to this for ages :)

  • The reason there isn't an X9 is because Capcom lacked sale of X8. So everyone get your ass off your computer and buy the X games if you don't have them. I know I am :D

  • @Midnight1711 I bought the collection of X games. from 1-6

  • JESUS! can't people deal with the fact that X series is better off ending?!

come on....what lumine said......ugh...forget it,just beat this game and get either zero's or X's ending.

  • mmx9 with either x-x3 style or x4-x6 style

  • Personally, i think that the only horrible move that Capcom made to the MMX series was X7. They fixed alot of their mistakes and made a great game out of X8, but by then, I think alot of fans gave up hope after X7

  • MMX9 NEED'S to be in a Megaman X - X3 style. Awesomeness at it's best.

  • @UrmrslowguyROBLOX there might not (huge chance) theres not going to be a MMX9.

according the CAPCOM, the Megaman X series was supposed to end in MMX6 when Zero got sealed away and X was in control. MMX7 and X8 dont 'exist' in the continuity of the series. meaning they dont die in what's s ever to the MMX series.

  • @givemeyournachos Actually X7-X8 are in the community.

The Zero Complete Works book says that the Neo Arcadia tower is the same as the Orbital Elevator.

  • @CCrockyourass yes i know that but the Neo Arcadia Tower might be SIMILAR to the orbital elevator but it doesn't mean its the same thing. the book (Zero complete works) was made in 2006(-ish?) and the MMZ collection came out in 2010 and on the website for the MMZ collection they fixed up time errors in the 'bridge' from MMX to MMZ and said that after the nightmare virus (MMX6) that everything was in peace until a few years later when dr.weil came along with Omega and corrupted the dark elf.

  • @givemeyournachos Um actually. The fans wanted X7 and X8. They didint care about the ending. They just wanted new games.

  • would love a 3min version of this song D:! why all the good songs end so quickly?

  • critisim (this is my opinion, dont flame): this would be a perfect form of a SNES form of that song. but i think it wold have been better if it was a bit slower and it would have had that megaman x1-3 feel

  • is rapid the music

  • Very nice, except it's missing some subtle accompaniment. It feels "empty".

  • god has it been 6 years since the release of X8 jesus christ o.o

  • The next megaman game should let people make their own bosses for multiplayer and test them on players while they have the choice of being x, zero, or axl.

  • I hate this guy on hard. So Much. The only Sigma I have'nt beaten on hard together with X6 (X without armor dies in 3 shoots from him ¬¬)

  • What did capcom did in the last years?, remake megaman, megaman 9 and 10 specifically... what happened?, the people loved them. They didnt had what megaman X4~5 had. They had what those games lacked, the pure essence of megaman.

I would hope, that capcom followed this example and remaked a megaman X in SNES style... im sure no one would see it with bad eyes, all the contrary. Mono rock-techno music, striagthforward-action packed stages and story-telling beepings. A formula proved to be pure win

  • From X5 to X8, the true esense of megaman was lost... pure linear-scrolling action. Music, wich altough "lacking" to the opinion of some "actual" gamers, had way more punch and meaning into the game and into our gaming experience. A story, wich not narrated trough voice, but trough beeps and scrolling letters, entranced and charmed us.

Now... what difference makes cooler animations and badass voice acting if after 20 minutes of starting the game, I get bored of it and turn it off?

  • @sahuaro Couldn't agree more.

  • I was reading the comments and you gotta be joking me... In many different places I see comments like (not only here, but many others vids and forums and whateva) that MX4~8 are superior to X1~3 because of the platform capabilities, the videos, the voice acting and plot...

Since when the videos and voice acting are what defines how good a game is?... I played X4, wich wasnt bad, but wasnt what I was expecting, and played megaman X5, X6 and X7... all three left for good after 20 minutes of play

  • Man, this is waaay better than the original, wich was too slow

    congratz, pal!

  • @Cabalmk I loved that animation, also you didn't have to watch it lol. You could keep dashing non stop. Also cut scenes are there to explain the story better. I liked the music in all Megaman/X games not one that I didn't like the music.

  • This mix is DOPE~!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Cabalmk As long as companies care for money instead of making a good game we won't see a good Megaman. Capcom is all money now, not talent and good games.

  • @Cabalmk Cutscenes are amazing for one....... X4-6 had smoother gameplay. The only thing I liked about x2-3 was double buster and Zero Buster. They were great games don't get me wrong but X4 and X8 are the best ones. X8 had one of the best voice acting I have seen for an english dub. To make MegamanX good again, improve graphics and game play and add a stronger story line with less plot holes. Also cutscenes ^^.

  • WOW ... if this is a remix from the theme of true sigma... how it will be if you upload one of copy sigma! .Goooooood job! n.n.

  • They should make MMX9 in 16 bit but with the 32 bit enhancements like Zero's saber combos and they gotta put Axl in it the 16 bit was the better of the series ex: MMX MMX2 and MMX3. MMX4 was good MMX5 was better but MMX6 was just ok

  • @RbamX2 glad i wasn't the only one with this idea! lol but you beat me to it!

  • This vid needs way more views!!!!!!!!!!

  • daveeeey would it be too much to ask if i said you should do jakob from x8 like this

and tornado man i always listened to tornado man and wondered how good it would sound in an x game and possibly metalman and quickman

  • @timboybig Check out the video response =P

  • i hate how they leave shit on cliffhangers. like x8 left with axls cliffhanger and no specified fate for vile. zxa left us on a cliffhanger with the whole master thomas thing. i mean comon capcom FOLLOW UP

  • Every time they leave a cliffhanger, they say "Aw fuck it, let's start a new series."

I think it's because they're embarassed to number their games all the way to 9 without a completely different appeal (Megaman 9). As much as I would hate them for doing it, they need to make Megaman X9, in 16-bit.

  • @CCrockyourass HA HA!! so true!!

  • @CCrockyourass Would you really hate them for making a 16-bit X9 but composed songs of this quality?

  • @MarkWIXX I hate anyone that conforms to the nostalgia/fanservice crowd.

  • @MarkWIXX Yes, would hate it A TON. Why make it 16bit? That's the dumbest thing anyone can say. MOVE forward people. Next Gen people, that means no WII.

  • @Monkerr Then I guess that Capcom should take the X series in the same way Sega is taking Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

  • @MarkWIXX Yes they should.

  • @MarkWIXX

Actually, I think a MMX9 would have to be made in MMX4-X6 style. That was perfection.

  • @SonicShadowPSF I could'nt agree more

  • @SonicShadowPSF Except the Horrid x4 DUBS!

  • @evildevil22442

    It'll have X8's VA's

  • @Perfectedidiot21

Mark Gatha won't be able to do it. He's currently in a job with the title "Dr.", whatever that might be.

  • @SonicShadowPSF x4 sucks

  • @Rocketedude

    Care to elaborate?

  • @Rocketedude

    no, YOU SUCK

  • @MrBlackSnake666 better than you dipshit

  • @Rocketedude

i don't want to talk with walking vomits like you

  • @SonicShadowPSF

funny thing about that is everyone has seperate opinions. also of people woud prefer the x1-3 style.

Myself, I agree with you, but I grew up with x4 in my posession so I may be biased. xD

  • @SonicShadowPSF It just needs to have good voice actors or have no voices. Thats what always killed it for me.

  • @SonicShadowPSF No.

    X-X3.

    End of discussion.

  • @SonicShadowPSF

Both the X-X3 and X4-X6 series were equally the best, in my opinion.

I say they use the X-X3 style, but they just need to customly create Zero so that he works similar to how he did in the X4-X6 games.

  • @SonicShadowPSF Definitely, with X8s voice acting too.

  • @SonicShadowPSF

Nope. X 1-3 style or nothing.

X4 introduced all the long-ass anime custscenes and floating hostages and bloated graphics.

I just want pure snes-rocking gameplay with awesome leveldesign.

  • @DrMuganda

There were no floating hostages in X4.

The anime cutscenes can be skipped and "bloated graphics" is down to personal preference.

The gameplay is still better than the SNES ones IMO.

  • X4 and X5 both have far more interesting level design than the SNES games. ...and you thinking the graphics are "bloated" is just you being blinded by nostalgia. they have the same 2d sprite based graphics, just better animated and with more detail in the PSX games.

  • @SonicShadowPSF I just want X9 at all...

  • @SonicShadowPSF oh god yes. I couldn't agree more.

X4-X6(minus X6 being super hard and not originally in inafune's plans, but still is great)

    were so god damn perfect

  • @SonicShadowPSF FULL SUPPORT ON THAT.

  • @SonicShadowPSF 16-bit isnt cool as psx megaman x

  • the final battle...back in 16 bit!

  • Lovin' your remixes mate :)

    Keep up the fantastic work

  • at some parts it sounds a bit like gygias theme

  • Great conversion

  • This is absolutely excellent and a huge improvement over the slow paced original track. I hope you'll make more remixes.

  • More love to daveeey!!!!!

    FAVED

  • not bad.

  • ok people i want to know what happen to axl, this is my brothers account he likes megaman but i like it more than him, tell me what really happens to axl when The team defeat lumine axl is getting closer to lumine and Boom!!! he gets hit by him its that a virus :( like zero happen to him or what?

  • THIS IS LOVE. :D

  • basically here is how i think the intro to x9 would start out

Sigma is in peices with only his head remaining

    vile walks up

Vile: well well well look who we have here

    Sigma: Vile.....Help...Me

Vile: HAHAHA you really think im going to help you after you left me in that junk heap? dont make me laugh had it not been for that foolish reploid scientist i would have never been given the chance to fufill my destiny

Sigma: B..But we share a destiny do we not?

Vile:No (destroys his head) X Must Die

  • There is no body of Sigma. He was completely annihilated on the moon, where the Virus was too far to spread back to Earth.

There's no chance of Sigma ever meeting up with anybody ever again and getting affected by the virus, seeing all new-gen repliroids are immune to the virus. Having Vile as the main villain might not work out, in my opinion.

  • still a cooler character than lumine and yea i kinda just remembered sigma has nothing left but iunno maybe they could start up the elf wars and make a bridge cuz personally id love to see omega and the 4 guardians again maybe x10 should be the elf wars

  • Of course this isn't going to stop Capcom from finding a way to revive him.

In X5, the virus had spread to the point of where Sigma couldn't revive himself if his current body were to be destroyed. Yet Gate revived him, and he came back for absolutely no reason in X7 and X8.

  • Sigma will be back. He's too important.

  • I say Axl goes Maverick and since all Copy Chips have Sigma's DNA written in amongst various millions of reploids,it's quite possible someone would conglomorate that data into the Sigma Virus, not necessarily Sigma himself...I smell Irregular X/Return X

  • Yeah they should brin RX/IX in Megaman X9 XD(because he is official)

  • Not happening. Lumine said that Axl, as a prototype, wouldn't be able to do that.

  • it is entirely plausible, all because he's a new gen prototype, doesn't mean he cannot be infected by normal means, the effects simply would be lessened, such as in X5 when you got Anti-Virus Guard...it would simply take Axl longer to infect.
