First time I heard this tune was during Ray Keith's set at our WEMF 3 day festival in 1999. Literally bought the mixtape for this tune. Never forgot it then 12 years ago and still need to hear it today in 2012.

I loved how for years (maybe they still do??) DJ's would drop this into sets when you least expected it. That bassline is iconic. I had a copy that got a scratch on the opening lead in, right where you would cue it. A tragedy :(

You don't listen to what is the most direct sound, which immediately hits your ear. It's the inconsistencies in basslines, the reverb from acoustic samples. There is plenty genius hidden in the production of this music!
