  • Benchmark dark tune, absolutely perfect.

  • Good and nasty

  • I wish I was born 10 years earlier.

  • First time I heard this tune was during Ray Keith's set at our WEMF 3 day festival in 1999. Literally bought the mixtape for this tune. Never forgot it then 12 years ago and still need to hear it today in 2012.

  • This is a track only a true drum & bass fan could understand.

One of the best ever made.

  • I could easily mistake this for a Jonny L track. interesting...

  • Still got this beat goin around in my head since 98. This is how dark dnb was always ment to sound ! :0)

  • I still play this shit,with genotype,u knows it...

  • P H A N T O M F O R C E

  • i remember hearing this tune at a friends house way back in 2001. i had never heard such a dark and grimey tune in my life and was the 1st tune that got me hooked onto DNB and i havent stopped listening to DNB/dubstep since

  • happy i bought this when i was 15 lol

  • @darrylprojectile same, although i was 14

  • the label also looks so baddass when its on the turntable, spinning like a saw blade

  • Mannheim/Ludwigshafen, Friedrich-Ebert-Halle, Oktober 1999, Meditation, Andy C Opening Tune... It was like "WHAT THE F**K IS GOING ON??"

  • This is a great tune- a total classic, but i would love to know what the fuck you guys listen too, coz this ain't a dark tune at all, in fact is more funky than anything.

  • @choppageworshipper no, it's defintely dark

  • @Queed048

Hardly! you must listen to light drum and bass and have obviously missed most of the harder stuff along the way somehow?

  • one of the the greatest dnb tunes of all time. i thought that when i first ever heard it in 99, and still think it now. never gets old

    propa dnb

  • When I first heard this I fucking lost it on the floor. All bets were off. The flip is sick too.

  • One of the top 5 greatest drum & bass tracks of all time. PERIOD.

  • wicked simple rollin darkness how it should be

  • Bloody murder.

  • I loved how for years (maybe they still do??) DJ's would drop this into sets when you least expected it. That bassline is iconic. I had a copy that got a scratch on the opening lead in, right where you would cue it. A tragedy :(

  • beautiful stuff

  • Monster of the highest quality !!!!!!

    big drop man !!!!!!!

  • this song beats as i mash away at the urban jungle

  • impressive production values! about as high as they got. Very tough indeed. Also check their remix of G.O.T.A on moving shadow.

  • fug yes!! :p goin to look up terroroist, or maybe check redial> mad respect . jungle 4 life

  • der tune ...dodaal verblitzt 1999 in de Kadakombe im connex!......yes!

  • hard renegade soldiers

  • the good old daysssss :)

  • by far one of the best dnb tunes ever created, by far.

  • Memories of Andy C fucking up the raves with this back in 98, when dnb was still real- dangerous tune!

  • great tune - heard it on Killabites. It has an uneasy atmosphere to it. Definitely getting this on vinyl!!!

  • pure dark riddim one of the sickist dnb tunes every lets hum the b-line err err err err err lighter

  • southstaronline your damn right this was a turning point int the 2000 techstep onslought. by far one of the best sound productions of this time

  • once again confirming that a phat dnb drop can any situation better :)

  • classic!

  • ..HEAVYNESS..

when i first heard this drop on a hefty system i nearly shat myself.

  • never gets old

  • bad tune proper 4am business!

  • it's a shame the encoding destroys the mid+top end when the bass hits :\

wicked track though! just refound this recently :)

  • One of the best digital tunes ever!!

    And its a old one

    rinnnnse out

  • I sort of like it...BUT, I think this type of music is highly REPETITIVE.

  • You don't listen to what is the most direct sound, which immediately hits your ear. It's the inconsistencies in basslines, the reverb from acoustic samples. There is plenty genius hidden in the production of this music!

    More so than ANY genre!

  • ill fucking have ya ya wee chavy sket ya

  • you mean randomly swinging for ppl n gettin ur ass kicked, lol

  • LOVE THIS TUNE !! GODDAMN how much I love dnb . . . ! ! !
