Good review. I always wondered something about Amok Time, though: Spock's blue balls are resolved not by sex but by a fight. I've heard it suggested that any strenuous physical activity would have satisfied him. Isn't it a bit of an evolutionary disadvantage to have a reproductive urge so easily satisfied by non-reproductive activities?
