buy some canned meats, and you ll only need 2-3 rabbits, and you can put them in a small run outside, instead of the cages you douschbag, and you wont ahve to clean the cageds

When animals don't have enough room to move around, it really has a bad effect on the meat. I suggest getting more cages or reducing the amount of animals you have.

Get a pig and ;you can feed him for free if you can get milk,eggs and produce from the grocery store that they are about to throw away and contrary to popular belief a couple of pigs won't stink if you pick up their manure and compost it in a compost pile.

hey you should check out hydroponic gardening.

you can grow a lot inside with little room. but you do have to buy the nutrients solution to do so but the yield is supposed to be better.

Good video.. I used freezer bags to freeze sauce I made from my garden. It was a little easier for us to freeze sauce instead of canning the sauce. I would like to get some rabbits to someday. My garden was 20ft x 5 ft last season. This 2010 season the garden will be bigger 20ft x 13ft.

If things get as bad as we expect then you will have no power, hence your refrigerated food and frozen food go bad very quickly.

Then there will be no water unless you have access to natural fresh water, your plants will die, your animals will die and you will die without water.

Also all your cooking has to take place outdoors on a wood ground fire as you will not have gas or electricty for your appliances.

Depending where you live, weather is a majore factor.

I read they used rabbits in the depression and third world countries. I was thinking of having my own just for clean meat, who knows what they do with hamburger, look at the peanut butter.
