if ur seats fold down flip those around and face them into the car, ull get more bass inside the car, and less rattling from the trunk. By having them face outward most of the bass is trapped in the trunk.Check out my vid.

kenwood amps are really nice. especially the models started in 2008 or later excelon series because they read the signal that is put through your speakers and then recieved in the ground terminal to figure out the signals that are best for your woofer/speakers. also they are well known for their build and sound quality. i would just save the money.

if you can afford it 1800 watts would be good. you also have to take into consideration of upgrading in the future. the subs you get next could handle a lot more power than what you have now.

well see alpine has a few different series. they have type e, s, r, and x as far as i know. kenwood only has a couple different series the kenwood excelon nonshallows are really nice but i guess you are looking at what they have in this vid. and unless you are getting alpine type r or x the kenwoods are gonna be better. but the 1800 watt amp would be better for two subs.

Yes its all personal preference. Logically a ported box should work better in a closed trunk compared to hatchback. Ported works good in hatchback/cab, but some high notes don't sound as strong.
