I bought the EW50CB and the action was terrible, but the warranty on the guitar allows you to bring it back to the dealer, and they corrected any problem that it had! (I just don't have the guts to screw around with the bridge, neck or nut of acoustic guitars esp. if the guy at the store where I bought it will do it for me!) When I got it back it was absolutly amazing! Nice tight action and great sound with no fret buzzing or cramped left hand! I strongly advise to people to buy this guitar!!!!1

i really really want this guitar but i keep hearing the action can be terrible on some of them and you have to try out like 10 before you find the right sounding one, how true is this..

@TheMattnozz Not true... The factory setup may not be perfect, but we we have not had any of these that we were not able to get playing well with some minor setup work... All acoustic guitars are very sensitive to temperature and humidity, and will need setup work done at least once or twice a year. But especially if you order from any dealer online, the climate change between the point of origin and it's final destination will affect setup. But it's easily corrected and is normal.

@TheMattnozz I have this guitar. The action is too high for me. It hurts my finger tips to play it. Even using light gauge. I've been playing guitar for quite a while. I bought this on line so I didn't try it out before buying it. You might want to try it out the one you will buy if you plan on buying one. I've had mine for about 4 years now and I've noticed it's getting hissy. I don't know if this is a common.

Wade I play rhythm for the most part and I need a guitar with easy action .I know I'll get a rich tone from this but I 'm just interersted in feedback about the ease of playing up and down the fretboard.Barring,some picking ,lots of strumming,and bass fills .I like a full bodied bass sound on my acoustics

What's your opinion on these fronts if you don't mind sharing.

Hi do you know what's difference between this EW20 and the EW50?

@11thhourreprieve Same guitar but EW50 has superior tuning machine. I have the EW50 and love it. The tuning machine is smoother than the EW20 and the gold plating prevents corrosion (hopefully). Both guitars sound great without amplification but are not very loud compared to say a dreadnaught.

This same guitar is on sale on craigslist for 275 dollars (used of course) Still though. Dude down there said he paid 500 dollars (few comments below). This guitar I am talking about comes with a pretty nice case too. If I didn't already have too many guitars, I'd prolly buy it. (damn)

@ricebuni All the way. It was about 500 dollars for me when I bought it (idk how much now) but if you're getting something this quality as a starter guitar, make sure that you (or the person you're buying it for) is super dedicated so you don't waste your money.
