i've seen a lot of player cover that solo, AND have seen Alex play it himself in person 60 times, let me say that you have it nailed as good as it can get unless you change your name to Lifeson! the ONLY thing you could do different is to watch the video lesson Alex made and perhaps change the way you pop the open G string @ 0:26, by bending it first like he does. not that virtually ayone would even notice the difference though..lol!! man, i wish i could play for real like you!!!!

Hi man, sorry I've got a question there's so much difference between a custom 24 and a dave navarro, the problem is that i'm not from usa and in my country no sale prs and y wanna buy it by ebay, and i'm between custom 24 or a prs dave navarro, or ibanez jem please tell me what's is your point of view of these guitars.

Hey there! First off, the ONLY differences between a Custom 24 and a Navarro is that the Navarro has a brazilian rosewood fingerboard and comes with mccarty switching (toggle) standard. That is optional on the Custom 24. The JEM is a lighter, thinner necked shredding machine, a little different than the 24's.

And for you is bettrer a brazillian rosewood or not, and if you would have the money to buy a JEM or a PRS NAVARRO which of these you buy, I play the same style of music like you Rush, Van Hallen, Metalliza all of that kinf of rock music,

Well, brazillian rosewood is hard to come by, so, people seem to want it more. It's a little different, but i don't really notice it when I play it.

Honestly, both the JEM and PRS are great guitars, the JEM has a REALLY thin neck and PRS sounds more "beefy" to me. You can't go wrong with either, very high quality.

No repaint, that is a Dave Navarro signature PRS. I'm not the biggest Navarro fan, but I like the white PRS, and that's the only way to get one.

Why not keep the head as the power amp... this way you can still have a tube head and use a pedal sometimes, just to change things up from time to time. By the way... great playing and tone. I have been playing a long time and can not get that close to Alex's style... great job!
