But I do like rock... it's my favorite genre, actually. But I'm not a big fan of that sub-genre of rock. I'm more into Aerosmith, Queen, The Stones, Dylan, if we're going for classics.

@malkatamutra I respectfully disagree. I understand this is all opinion-based, but I've been going to live shows since I was 15. I'm 21 now, and I stopped counting at 200 concerts almost a year ago. I finally made time to see DMB last year because I was at Bonnaroo and they were playing. It blew me away. I've always been more of a fan of small concerts, but these guys own the stage and are masters at their craft. So, for me (and I'm sure many, many others), DMB=best live band ever

I can dig it...Carter def kicks ass..but his drum kit is a bit of overkill...seriously, he can play just as cool and funky with half of that gear. I guess that's the beauty of having roadies...until I have them I'll stick with my funky 4-piece and three cymbals!

i dont know...everyone in this band is pretty unique.i think it'd be hard to re create not only their sounds but daves creativity with songwriting.

having said that. most of my songrwiting is inspired by them. and if i could jam onstage like those guys, i'd do it in a hearbeat
