just a note: if you update your AppleTV to software version 2.4, your current version of Boxee will break. Run the Boxee updaters in the AppleTV menu, and it will work again. enjoy.

hello i tried installing the softwear but i have a problem.

first let me start with that i installed the USB with the softwear on my mac and then i went to the apple tv pull the cable out and put the USB in side and turned on the apple tv it did all the process in few minutes and then i turned it of again and took out the USB and turned back in and nothing happend to the apple tv. no application were added. please what should i do.

he said if you have a 720p HDTV, the AppleTV works, bit it's kinda too slow for a 1080p HDTV, he suggests getting a Mac mini for that (about $400 used, get an intel one)
