One time i was watching Hardball and they had this guy and Ryan Lizza on at the same time, and the universe almost exploded. But really it just ended up being like college again, like sitting in a really interesting poly sci course that always made me wish I could avoid being tired at 8AM so I could join in the discussions more actively.

The tips would be almost good except on #3, his idea of what sounds good, sounds like just another idiot reporter faking having a lot of emotion and only succeeding in looking like he's trying to give it importance, rather that actually sounding truly passionate.. Does it beat the 1st example? yes. But it wasn't really great hearing that rambling either. I don't like reporters like that. They are just as fake.
