Fantastic song from a fantastic album. This album was the one that fired Metallica way into the stratosphere. It didn't just impress the many people who were already long time 'Tallica fans,but your every day average joe bloggs came out & bought the Black Album too, (myself included) & it still sells loads even today. Anyone that says Metallica "sold out" on this album doesn't know much about them or Metal in general tbh. Tell me any band in metal today who wouldn't want their success or status?

A lot of younger metal fans don't realize how much the commercial success paved the way for today's metal scene (which includes festivals and the TV channel known as Scuzz). It certainly paved the way for the magazine Decibel.

Back in the '90s, the album allowed edgier music to receive mainstream exposure (e.g. Pantera's 1994 album "Far Beyond Driven" which went to # 1) hence why we have so many metalcore bands.
