While it was in many ways a great country and there is good reason to remember it fondly compared to the Russia of today, I'd hope we can agree that it could have and should have been a much better place.

Ewentualnie walki dłużej by się przeciągnęły, ale za to Hitler miałby Leningrad pod nosem (nadbałtyckie państwa wsparłyby go), a i do Moskwy o wiele bliżej. Zima była jednym z czynników, ale nie jedynym, przecież oprócz Moskwy był jeszcze Stalingrad, Leningrad, bitwa pod Łukiem Kurskim itd.

I dislike the clip and certainly am not capitalist. It is just all too disgusting to depict a guy in budyonovka with bolshevik symbols riding the tatchanka. It was invented by Makhno's men and was used against all oppressors - be they white or red. No surprise though, bolsheviks have been using far worst manipulations throughout their history.

Nie, po prostu debil Stalin toczył razem z Budionnym swoją wojnę we Lwowie. Później Tuchaczewski obwinił Stalina za klęskę (słusznie) i jak Lenin zdechł, Tuchaczewski został rozstrzelany.

Bez przesady - Niemcy zastosowali słynny Blitzkrieg, żadna armia nie miała na niego sposobu (Francja mająca rzekomo najlepsze wojsko na świecie), i tak dobrze, że udało się zatrzymac Hitlera przed Moskwą, utrzymac Stalingrad i przegonic go do Berlina. Co do Tuchaczewskiego, to nawet Warszawy nie zdobył, więc gdybania co by było potem są bezsensowne

A sęk w tym, że Tuchaczewski nie zdobył Warszawy, bo przewidywał udział I Armii Konnej Budionnego w tej bitwie. A Niemiecki Blitz doskonal poradził sobie w Polsce (dzięki Sowietom, bo ci zajęli bagniste Kresy Wsch. RP). We Francji jeszcze lepiej, ale kiedy w ZSRR rozpoczęła się zima zaczęły się kłopoty organizacyjne u Szkopów.

@khulik Czekał Tuchaczewski, czekał i się nie doczekał... Uzbrojenie ogromnej rzeszy luda wymaga trochę czasu. Nie wierzę, że Polska by się obroniła, gdyby nie było 17 września. Ewentualnie walki dłużej by się przeciągnęły, ale za to Hitler miałby Leningrad pod nosem (nadbałtyckie państwa wsparłyby go), a i do Moskwy o wiele bliżej. Zima była jednym z czynników, ale nie jedynym, przecież oprócz Moskwy był jeszcze Stalingrad, Leningrad, bitwa pod Łukiem Kurskim itd.

@khulik Rozumiem człowieku rozumiem. Ale Budionny niewiele by tam pomógł, gdyż nawet najliczniejsze wojsko bez zaopatrzenia jest nic nie warte, a sama 1. Armia Konna jednak mimo wszystko by nie wygrała. A ty chyba powinieneś się cieszyc, że Stalin się zachował tak a nie inaczej... I o zimie mi nie odpowiedziałeś...

I'm well informed on Russian history, and yes, the Reds do have blood on their hands, but so does everybody else! The Whites, particularly Kolchak, slaughtered opponents at will, including Jews, peasants, etc.
