I truly believed this shot would catapult the Spurs to the next round, maybe even farther. Almost like it was destiny for the Spurs to come back. While I loved the shot, and it was the shot of Gary Neal career and life, it will just end up as a footnote in Spurs history. Still can't believe we lost in the first round. Game 1, oj mayos 3 pter at the end of the the first Q shouldnt have counted. the clock didnt start when the ball was inbounded, and we didnt have manu ginobili that game. Ginobili wasnt even playing the way he was all season. Grizzlies should thank Grant Hill. Zbo's 3 pter in game 3 was lucky, he'll never make that shot again. Spurs shoulda won both those games, and even if we got 1, i have no doubt we'd win game 7. So lucky.

@Broodxy I used to think that about Bynum too until i saw that he not once did he take over a game by himself. He should have schooled Dallas because Tyson and Haywood are mediocre defenders (not to mention New Orleans series). I am not talking about Pau's health lol. A lot of ppl play bball 24/7 365. Pau is weak and can be bullied by his defender to shoot where they want him to shoot if they force him to do so. It's sort of like Lebron in that sense. And of course you're not making excuses...

@Broodxy Personally, I respect the Lakers, and I think that they're a talented and experienced ball club. But I think the Spurs have the experience factor, but I think what's tearing them down is the fact that their defense is lacking. They've changed mostly to offense, and that's not a championship-winning distribution. The Lakers are very good, but so are the Spurs, and I can't stand it when Lakers fans, or Heat fans, or Mavs, Suns, or Celtics fans insult the Spurs all the time.

I'm a Celtic fan, I personally believed they were still going to the Finals last year, and if they were going to lose to anyone, it'd be the Heat. @jasper2008ify i think the spurs wouldve done way better than only 1 win vs dallas... memphis was just the biggest anti-spurs team in the playoffs, they were young and had a C and PF in Randolph and Gasol that dominated the paint. Dallas are just as old as the Spurs and they wouldnt dominate the paint nearly as much with Dirk in the lineup.

That was a desperation move. Jefferson needs to be shipped out immediately, if the spurs can get a sucker to take him. Blair needs to lay off the burgers and get a better work ethic. grizzlies seriously got so lucky in this series. Game 1, oj mayos 3 pter at the end of the the first Q shouldnt have counted. the clock didnt start when the ball was inbounded, and we didnt have manu ginobili that game. Ginobili wasnt even playing the way he was all season. Grizzlies should thank Grant Hill. Zbo's 3 pter in game 3 was lucky, he'll never make that shot again. Spurs shoulda won both those games, and even if we got 1, i have no doubt we'd win game 7. So lucky.
