  • Where can I get one?

  • Where can I get one?

  • u need a rly big tank to thm thy get up to 20ft

  • Where did you buy it and how do you keep the tank cold?

  • Sturgeon that you can buy can only be white sturgeon!

  • @Tyranachu, i got mine for about 10-15$ each. Frozen blood worms are the best choice. When they eat, they skim the bottom. Blood worms sink and are smalll enough to fir in their mouth.

  • How much do they cost? What do they eat?

  • @visualkeirockstr, idk if these are illegal to keep, and doubt if they are. Sturgeon naturally live in and around CA. Fishing for sturgeon is in check by season i think.

  • i thought it was illegal to have sturgeon in California, even if you caught a big one

  • those r california sturgeon my friend

  • this is cooler than cool!! I've never seen baby sturgeon, it's crazy how big they get!! CATCH AND RELEASE PLEASE!!!

  • does anyone know how to keep stergeons small if it possible plz reply if u know

  • is it possible to keep these guys small but not have them die?

  • Yes, but it requires experience and you have to be able to adapt to sudden changes in health. cold water and a powerful bubbler are also key.

  • @redandbluebeater

sorry ment to rate it upwards but clicked the downwards =(

    SORRY!

  • oh btw i guess they are like 2 - 3 months they can double there size in 1 years to like 30 - 40 cms

  • these sturgeons are acispencer sterlets. they grow in the wild like 1.2 - 1.3 meters.

you need to feed em these sturgeon pellets or they will die one day. you toke a really scary size because the younger they are the weaker they are. when the temperture allows, i will record my 70 cm acispenser baeri thats a real monster :P

  • is it hard to take care of this fish !!!Sturgeon

  • what water temp. do you keep them in?

  • cold. about 72 F i think. the colder the better due to oxygen levels. Sturgeon usually live in cold evironments, so it's best to imitate that.

  • where did you get yours

  • Moons aquarium shop in Hayward California.

  • they not white sturgeon lol they shove nose sturgeon lol idk if i spell it right

  • Healthy looking sturgeons. Where did you bought them?

  • i have 2 about same size, there is actual strgeon food called sterlet sticks, they sink so its easier to feed, they are also prone to not eating well if there food is hard to get. so its good if the food sinks straight away, they home in and finish quickly, i was told they feed 3 times a day (within reason). mine were slow feeders at first now they go crazy for it...hope any of this helps.. :)

  • and white sturgeon are anadromous witch means they can interchange between salt and fresh water without affects lik bull sharks and salmon

  • i think there white sturgeon

  • today i bought a baby sturgeon just like urs, and about the same size, but im not too sure about wat to feed them, so can u tell me wat u fed those sturgeon, and my sturgeon was for $23

  • I fed mine blood worms. use the frozen kind. when you melt the block in the water, they can smell it, and you notice them swimming with their mouths on the bottom. let the worms sink, they can eat them on the bottom.

  • THANK U SO MUCH, yeah i havent been able to find a good food for my sturgeon, there was these small live food that the sturgeon eat, but my parents didnt want to raise it, so we couldn't find anything for the sturgeon to eat, again thank u

  • i was gone for like 4 days. no one was home to feed them, and they died from malnutrition. when i came back, the wouldn't eat. idk why?

  • oh just wondering

  • if anyone hasnt told you yet your sturgeon seem to be either white or shovle nose but if they live in fresh water theyre prob white same as mine :)

  • damn i wish i had a sturgeon for my tank, they look awsome

  • wat did you feed them

  • I know these things grow big, but do they grow slowly?

just wondering if one of these would be happy for a while in a 125 gallon tank before going into a pond.

  • of course.... when ever growing a fish, it doesn't matter what size tank, as long as you can move it to a bigger tank when and if needed. sturgeon do grow fairly slowly.

  • i know wat it is... its a fish

  • man i would be pissed if i was jet skiing and got hit by a sturgeon and somehow died!!!!

  • I'm in florida and in the Suwanee river people die every year because sturgeon like that jump out of the water and accidentally hit people on boats and jet skis!

  • so what are you saying?

  • Aww that's sad. Sorry bout that.

  • they look like white sturgeon. Those get like 9 feet. watch out. Where are they going to go when they outgrow that? Just curious. :)

  • they acctualy died..... but i thought of leagally releasing them.

  • btw how did ur sturgeon die?

  • Those are sterlet sturgeons, not white.

  • hey i know where u can buy them.. just bought 3 yesterday... anyone wants to know holla back...

  • where do you buy them at

  • hey where can u buy those?

  • very rare to find at a fish store. (not petco, or any other PET store) easy to buy online. try to look for a store that specializes in freshwater. if u visit often, ask if they can order u one.

  • yeah thats true, i bought my baby sturgeon at a veitmanese fish aquaruim store

  • you have to get them go when they get very big!

  • yes i still don't know where though.

  • Very nice!!!! They're WHITE STURGEONS
