Dear Vedic Student: Why is it that you are misunderstanding purport of the Bhagvat Geeta? Krushna does not suggest that you run from the world, nor does it say thet non-violence is teh highest value in a society. It say that Justice is teh highest value in teh society. And as its member you can not sit watching idly, like Bhishma and Balrama did? You act, and that is all you can do, that action does not guarantee the results. So what action of yours will guarantee your next birth?

yes i agree many misunderstand this and belive non actions is superior to action even tho it clearly states otherwise in the Gita.

and when Lord Krishna revealed the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna who was not sure if he should fight in battle. Krishna deems it Arjuna's duty to struggle to uphold righteousness, without consideration of personal loss, consequence or reward. The discharge of one's moral duty he says supersedes all other pursuits both spiritual and material in life.

Sad, people only enjoy the soothing voice. People enjoy only the difficult sanskrit words filled with mahapranas.

There is lot to take from Sanskrit & everyone feels that its impure to read-study-chant translated sanskrit shlokas in their mother tongue. heights of ignorance. May Lord Krishna save these ignorant souls.
