This song totally reminds me of Joe Cocker's "Feeling All Right." Since Steve Winwood wrote and played on it, it's pretty obvious where his inspiration came from – right here.
You are right. I bougnt a ticket for the clapton/Winwood tour in July 2010. But when I read the setlist on the net, I was a little bit dissapointet. Barely one Spencer Davis Group song, apart from "Georgia on my mind". But luckily several Blind Faith and Traffic numbers.
I love Trampoline, Please Do Something, Don't Want You No More (post Stevie), etc., etc.
By the way, I was VERY disappointed that Steve Winwood ignored/didn't perform ANY Spencer Davis Group songs at the Hollywood Bowl on June 30th!!! He and Eric Clapton were good, but TOO MUCH SLOW STUFF!!! BORING!!! Stevie, get rid of Clapton (pick up Jeff Beck), and get some ants in your pants again!!!
it was the b-side of keep on runnin'. a life time fav.

oh what a class, Stevie Winwood 1966, his brother Muff with bass, Pete York on drums...
Its a good example of what music I like especially has:
"Controlled ecstasy", positive mood, grooving all over to the top, like a love game.
