  • About 2 years ago, as soon as I had plenty of time to relax, I put on my Kim Wilde album for a change while I was drawing. Off course I heard the succesful singles like "Kids in America", "Cambodia", "Chequered Love" etc., but then THIS song played. I was shocked to find out that this song wasn't nearly as famous as the other songs. The best songs never make it to the charts, that's why people should take their time to listen to and appreciate the complete album made by an artist.

  • I think it's the best song of Kim Wilde. So deep, so mysterious... If only this song would have been a success... Imagine an album with that mysterious mood in it. The song failed to enter the charts, and after that, Kim seem confused : jazz ? (Love Blonde), funk ? (Dancing in the Dark), electro ? (House of Salome) ...

  • I always wondered if this song was about an alien abduction...?

  • hugely unerrated record for its time

  • What is she singing? Just go and play? Or Child go and play? It sounds like Just go and play

  • @Tisselwood

lyrics say child...but i'm pretty sure it's just go and play...

  • either she was attacked or she was a member of a cult...

  • Thanks for posting this. It is one of my favourite Kim songs-hauntingly beautiful and a little bit unsettling.

  • perfect description...
