What I find hilarious about most people on the left is that they don't realize the vast majority of people who came together in '07/08 to protest government spending stopped going to Tea Party rallies because the protests were taken over by Republican trolls. The ORIGINAL Tea Party protestors (the people who gathered on my State capital's lawn in late '07) specifically wanted the debt paid down and the budget balanced. They had no other ideologic argument, unlike the Republican shills today.

Fascism is state control of private resources by coercion. It's even somewhat similar to "state capitalism" in China. It was also the governing philosophy of the National Socialist party. It's easily understood, and can be conveyed by most Tea Party types. When used as a pejorative, by right or left (fascism is a leftist philosophy) it generally refers to a dictatorial autocrat type.
