I have a question for the dreamers.

Can any of you explain why you never attempted to become legal after you found out you were not legal? I bet most if not all of you knew for quite a number of years your illegal alien status, so all this time has passed and you never did anything but want amnesty. I also bet many of you could have become legal by now as well.
