  • Best Tutorial on Youtube !!

  • i didnt get how to solve the last f2l slot when u have white infront and different colors on top

  • I feel like the time you are supposed to save with F2L is wasted by moving and setting up the pieces in order to execute it. Am I wrong?

  • Nice tutorial, well explained, helped alot, thanks.

  • finally a tutorial that actually helps. with beginers method i set my personal best of 41.66. im hoping all the time going into learning this method will get me down to about 30 or less.

  • realy good tutorial

  • Amazing tutorial... im just so overwhelmed! not your fault though

  • your tutorials are great!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • my average is about 50 second using beginner method, but just starting with this i'm at about a 1:10 average. I can tell this is going to help once i get this down.

    THANK YOU so much!! :D

  • Holy shit, I'm so confused. I'm sticking with the beginner method.

  • This really helped me it ruduced my time from 1:10 and alot of working to 0:40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ssscjn XD, made my day.

  • AWESOME VIDEO. you explained it so well!!!!!! :U

  • Great video!

  • this is dark magic

  • Omfg ty dude I looooooooove you no homo i didbegginers method and my record was like 1:30.0 and now its 30 second omg i looooooove you no homo!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @fusionfallhacker1 Nice improvement, how long did it take you to learn intuitive f2L?

  • Holy f*ck. This is more helpful than I expected. Thank you.

  • this looks so easy if you learned the beginners method this isn't much harder. Or you are just good at teaching, I can do the beginner in under 45 seconds if I get lucky with the last color and have to solve like it had been fished already. I could shave 20seconds with this thnx.

  • nice video, helped a lot with concept

  • I could do f2l after about an hour, but my times are still about 1:35 compared to 1:12 with layer by layer.

  • oll and pll is sooooo much easyer! and every time i try to put them in my edge is always badly flipped :(

  • oll and pll is sooooo much easyer!

  • so..damn..hard..

  • This is the best f2l tutorial! Better than memyslefandpi's!

  • thank u so much!

  • Thanks! Awesome idea :)

  • Wow thankyou very much for this tutorial I actually wrote notes on how to solve it lol So then when this vid is done ima try it all! Thanks :)

  • thanks :)

  • Great tutorial but maybe a bit too thorough for those who've allready mastered the layer-by-layer -method. Good idea to use a blank cube. My thumb is up.

  • Dude, I've spent about 3 days trying to find a video that would explain this. I could never understand it, and you got me to understand it the first time I watched this video. I freaking love you!

  • @monkeydude1313 AMAZING tutorial! My problem was the bottom color coming up wrong, but after about 3 hours of nonstop trial and error, i have f2l down pat.Now for those oll and pll algorithms. And btw you are not a smartass

  • Good guide , but i still need to practice ^^

  • wow! thanks! im like 10 seconds faster lol ( no sarcasm )

  • Your the only person who i've seen thats actually able to explain this. Thank you!

  • THIS HURTS MY BRAIN and i cant remember these fken althrithms

  • F2L is a bitch to learn, this better be worth it

  • Great job! Thanx!!!

  • this is the best video of Fridrich, its very smart to remove the stickers to show us everything you meant, LIKE IT

  • Comment removed

  • @WTFINSM ?! i do beginer methode and my best time is only 1:14 and i'm realy fast ...

  • great tutorial, I really needed it. Thanks a lot.

  • Comment removed

  • @Seedot0001 Not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, but "intuitive" implies no algorithms.

  • 15 people just switched the stickers.

  • Great tutorial dude! Thanks a bunch!!

  • 2 look pll TAKES longer than the beginner method!

  • @purefatdude2 no it doesnt

  • blue centre should be on your left and orange on your right. apart from that this video is very helpful. thanks.

  • dude your sound is annoying

  • when you talk about hiding the corner piece for the same colors on top at like about 6:00 that would mess up your other corner? what should i do

  • thumbs up if this is where u learned intuitive f2l :)

  • best explanation on youtube. thx.

  • video is excellent

  • Was this video 2 separate videos at one point? Or am I just going crazy?

  • didnt finish doin it yet.. but its GREAT till now

  • Thanks alot for this tutorial Monkeydude, big fan here :-D

  • OMG THANKS SOO MUCH i tried to find so many f2l videos and this is by far the BEST i can do it now.. just gotta do it faster and think more quickly now.. thank you so much..

  • ZOMG

This is The best f2l video on YouTube

  • can anyone help me plz with this i have a corner already in its spot and its oriented correctly but the edge isnt. should i take the time to take the corner out and match its pair up or should i just do beginner method f2l

  • Wow this is really good men. Great job. After three days of searching in websites full of algorithms I finally got it with your video

  • Hi. I have a question, when i try this, i dont know how to start, i mean, should i first look for a corner that should be in the side that is facing me, or should i look for peace, and then look for side that that corner needs to go. And any tips on inspecting for those peaces?

  • this is soooooooooooooooooo hard :( fml

  • 2:13 Inserting full pairs, right side... 3:03 Front side. 3:30 Cases in pairing up 4:10 Opposite colors on top facets, right side... 5:03 Front side. 5:35 Similar colors on top facets, right side... 6:34 Front side. 7:07 Bottom color on top of corner piece, right side... 8:12 Front side. 8:48 Arranging the pieces pre-algorhithm 10:08 Variations 10:32 , 11:06 Using free slots 11:59 The final pair 13:45 Sample walk-throughs 19:30 Epilogue
  • This vid is superior. Kick-ass, intuitive algorhitms, comprehensive demonstration with good preparations (using black facets for irrelevant pieces), good editing. And I like how Monkey effortlessly swaps the pieces to the starting position of each problem; 'tis a sign of an aficionado. However:

@monkeydude1313 one idea that would make the vid EVEN better, is checkpoints in the discription. This would ease going back to specific problems. I've provided a content list in my next comment.

  • This is a very good guide, thanks!

  • thanks!

  • Awesome tutorial :P

  • My iq just dropped

  • I thank you much for this video. I haven't tried the method yet, however, I TOTALLY appreciate that you showed where the pieces start, where they move to during each rotation, and, finally, where they end up. I am MUCH more interested in solving the cube with an understanding of HOW the cube is being solved, rather than simply memorizing the algorithm names themselves (for example: R U R U prime). Thank you for explaining the reasoning and logic behind the moves! :) Now, I'll attempt...

  • I can see this helping me a lot. I was around 1:10 before i saw this video and getting the edge pieces is the part that takes me longest. Gunna take a while to retrain my brain to look at the cube like this but it'l be sick when i do. Thanks man. you're a legend :D

  • this video is great but I cant find your OLL video

  • what an awesome vid. very clear, slow, complete, well illustrated, and narrated(every move). also, it was very clever of you to remove the top layer stickers for illustration clarity.

your first video didn't contain the link to it however.

  • you are the best teacher ever! (sorry for my English)

  • :D woah, magic black cube

  • That vid is soo great an helpful !

u are able to teach perfectly = )

not as bad as vids from other people

    just awesome :)

  • This video learned me F2L like 7 months ago, its godlike!

Thanks alot for this awesome toturial =)

  • It was a super clear and helpful tutorial!

    Way better than MeMyselfAndPi's tutorial.

    Thanks.

  • is this the method you use? This is really good.

  • is this the method you use?

  • nnnnahhhhhh runescape!!

  • You sir, are a genius. Very intuitive.

  • at 6:00 you talk about hiding, In which that case I Get stuck at some times, How do you hide if you don't have any others open except the last one? If I get stuck I do (Sorry for no "Intelligent cube jargen" but..

Right Up, top clockwise, right down, Front counter clockwise, top clockwise, right up, top clockwise 3 times, right down..

How do I get past this? it's a big time waster, Thanks btw for the guide! Badmephisto's wasn't through enough for me!

  • i need a smoother cube to do this stuff

do u know where u can get good ones in ontario lol

  • thank you! ive been wondering how to finish it!

  • this is the clearest f2l video ive heard in a while. good job!

  • Best F2L guide I've ever seen!

  • awesome tutorial!!

i lolled at 03:40, where the coloron top is opposite, or not the same...

  • i like the way you have the cube nice vid

  • where is OLL!!!!!!???????!?!?!?!?!

  • lol im using a 25 year old cube. it's my moms from back in the day...i need a new one :(

  • this is too hard whenever i hide a corner to do something with the edge, the corner comes back up not the way it was the white is somewhere else.wow wutever this is stupid i quit this.

  • @ezarlol The fact that it's challenging is part of the fun.

You can't expect all good things to come easy =p

  • @monkeydude1313 well how long did it take you to get F2L down to a point where your times started to improve?

  • @ezarlol A long time.

    At least a couple weeks.

  • @monkeydude1313 kk we'll see if i improve :p maybe sometime i'll post a vid response

    ty

  • @ezarlol Dude i totally understand your frustration..i dont understand this fridrich method stuff.. its like too complicated..it makes me sad that i cant understand.

  • @WTFINSM It's now been three months since I watched this video and I think it's safe to say that I got F2L down (check my videos}. Whatever you do don't quit and keep practicing, as long as you practice you'll get it.

  • @ezarlol -Haahaha, this is funny. You didn't quit. Where are you anyway? I've not seen you around!

  • @xxoxia LOL i remember that comment

I've been into other stuff, mostly just random things on the computer. I haven't cubed in forever or uploaded a video =S Hopefully i'll get around to doing both.

  • @ezarlol .............. i mezmorized this in like 2 minutes??? do you not know the beginners method if you dont learn that then learn this you will get in in like 5 seconds =D

  • @ezarlol make sure when you hide a corner that white is in any face (F, L, or R) layer and not on the D layer. that way when you bring it up it always matches the edge

  • @deathmetalCharles - Hahaha, dude, he left that comment a year ago. He finally got it and got down into the 20's, but quit cubing like months ago.

  • OMG this is the best tutorial ever

i tried doing rustomac tutoriak but i did not understand

you did it the perfect speed

  • i usually average around a minute 20 seconds, so now i'm trying this method, and like you said, my time has gone down drastically, but i think TOO drastically, which i now average like 3 minutes. i've gone for a day practicing this and haven't gotten much faster. Any recommendations to help me get faster? it takes quite a while for me to find my pieces sometimes. :/ anyways, this is a good tutorial, very helpful, i subbed

  • @c00lsam123 - It takes much more than a day of practice to master the F2L cases. You have to get used to them for a while (at least a week) before you'll see any improvement. The reason it takes so long is because you have to stop and think about how to do each case, which is why I started with F2L algs from cubestation.

  • If a corner is already in the fight spot and turned the right wat us it good to us the normal U, R, U', R', U', F', U, F?

  • really great tutorial dude! Helped a lot!

  • These videos are fantastic, really carefully explained and the examples at the end are great. Thank you for taking the time.

  • i cant find your OLL video :(

  • awesome, man!!!! great job, really!

  • I can feel my ADD kicking in!

  • Wow Thank you so much! I havent seen a video yet that even touches this one. when it comes to the solving the F2L intuitively, this video is more than amazing. I cant even begin to explain how thankful I am for you to make this video for youtube. I made notes throughout the whole video and will be using your great method. Thanks again. -Nitrouspeed

  • @monkeydude1313 nvm i got it

  • excellent tutorial. very easy to follow

  • this does not work because there are no Algorithm

  • @DingDongRingDong - Hahaha, that's why it's intuitive. You don't need algs, you have to think about how to pair up the F2L pairs. I hope you eventually got it.

  • Cool vid. Good use of a 'training cube'. Lance did a vid like this too. Hope to see more like this. 'Training cubes' help out alot. Hope to see more like this.

  • Only 101 thumbs-up?

    Deserves 10001!

    Great tutorial!

  • This is the best F2L tutorial out there! Magnificent!

  • im confused on how to do this i cant cant pair them up right. can you help

  • What kind of cube is that?

  • good tutorial

  • Great video man, i think its the only one that explains one by one F2L

  • Should I memorize the f2l algorithms or is it not worth it?

  • you might be a smart ass but this tutoriall WAS AMAZING!!

    thanks a lot (thumbs up)

  • @brotherlybrother11 I'm a smart ass? I apologize if I give off that impression =\

  • @monkeydude1313 no worries now i see that your not a smart ass to take all the time to make this vid! is just awesome!!!!

    keep it up!

  • @monkeydude1313 IM FUCKING LOVE YOU!!!! FINALLY NORMAL PERSON WHO EXPLAINS F2L EXTREMELY GOOD!

  • I came upon this from MMAP video... this one is better. May I also say that you guys sound really alike.

  • The best F2L video ever!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you so much. This is gonna save like 30 seconds off my time on the cube. I'm not gonna go full fridrich yet but still, i might go sub minute.

  • what if i dont have a matching piece?

  • @TRZ253

don't be a retard you piece of crap if you don't like this stuff why search it you get a life instead of posting stupid comments like this on youtube that no one cares about and queer means different not gay you dumb piece of crap i'm only saying this once becuz i have a life i don't wanna waste it arguing with a stupid person on youtube...
