@gabycat7777 YOU are totally WRONG, there were just two types of dogs in mexico and were the Xoloitzcuintles (better know as mexican hailress dog) and the chihuahua, the aztecs used to believe that the Xoloitzcuintle could cure any disease that the men could have, even today we still believe that, and yes aztecs idolize the Ocelotl (jaguar) and the eagle ...you need to read more & so d0Nt come and tell my country hystory if you d0Nt know it...

@TheLieWeLive Maybe because the Animals had their own distinctive characteristics and abilities humans didn't have. Ancient people thought the animals they shared their world with were closer to the gods than they were and that by honoring and venerating the animals they could communicate with the divine.
