@theshindigproduction my opinion you should start with a free ride bike and build up to the full DH bike. try the following brands: cove (my top opinion but not too popular), kona, norco, banshee, devinci, rocky mountain, santa cruz, yeti...those are just some...but if you can find it try and get a Cove "G-spot"...pretty funny name haha! but its a great bike but also very cheap and has good looks..

@theshindigproduction well if you have no experience in mountain biking then you should definitly start off with a hardtail. If you want to hit the harder stuff such as black diamond stuff you should then upgrade to a full suspension for better comfort and control.
