I have lost as many times as I've been successful with this. Reasons being bad luck, bad counting, not playing the cards right, not leaving when the table is cold, being stubborn and playing hands til its hot, bad betting.

A deck could be rich with high cards but it could also mean that the other players at the table get them. That has happened to me, count was high so I bet high thinking i'd get something but everyone else at the table got the 10, Aces, Kings and I got crap cards.

I have one extra tip though train your eyes to ignore the 7,8,9, and to pair cards Low+High cards as 0 since they cancel each other out. What ever remains on the table is what you need to count.

He is dealing much slower then what you would experience at an actual table.here is a lot going on and like he says it takes discipline and concentration. I've been at tables with rowdy drunk people screaming throwing off my count. Also I personally have trouble keeping count and adding the sum of my cards and recalling basic strategy. Is the count +3? I have and A,6 so thats is either 7 or 17 dealer has a K do I hit, or stand, etc? Sum drunk bitch is screaming...harder then it looks.

Well, there's a Mini game on Fable, see... It's called Black Jack. I was debating the validity of it as a practice source because the dealings may be random, unlike when using real decks...

If the count is high, doesn't that ALSO mean the DEALER has a better chance of getting blackjack? He is getting delt the same cards a the rest of the players.

@milwaukeerick Yes you are right, but based on basic blackjack strategy, its a lot easier to win if you can predict high cards are coming. If you see that the dealer has a 6 showing for example, u can stick on anything and there is a high chance he will bust. Hands like 10 and 11, are likely to turn into great hands when you double down. Also getting insurance against blackjack can be worth your while now. Also Blackjack gives the player 6/4, where as the house only gets paid evens.

@milwaukeerick yes it does very so counting tells you your advantage of winning. That is why you do not put all your eggs in one baskets like some players do. You also gotta take a few losing streaks or in other cases know when to get the HELL out.

@soonermagic24 How much would you say I have been practicing and I was told you can start with 300-500 dollars. Just bet your units 5 dollars and if the count is right 10 or maybe 15 and when your bankroll increases build up. Unless you have better plan....

@Cam6990 yes.. if you have 500 dollars, then 15, maybe 20 is a good bet if the count is good.. just be prepared because the casino wins too. ive had good counts, and lost like 10 straight bets due to dealer gettting the blackjacks, and 20's, and i kept getting 19's, and 15's.. sometimes it really sucks.. just be prepared to lose money if you count cards.. good luck to you

@Maxzjee If the count is +3, it depends on whether it is a running count or true count figure. It is also dependent of your bankroll and your attitude towards risk for as what you would do when the count is +3.

@Weeble68 because even when card counting your advantage is never more than 2% over the house, becauyse the average house advantage is .56% over you, so if you can get a 2% advantage over the house thats awesome! but its only 2% meaning in the long run its huge wins, but in a very short while, its still a either really lucky or really unlucky scheme of things, but in the long run you're making money, if u dont know how to count, in the long run u lose money to the house .56% advantage

@Weeble68 Really what is a get rich scheme. Blackjack is a long run game.  Their is a certain expected income per any bet strategy. It just takes many hands to realize the expectation and meet it.

If you are in the "Plus" range then the odds are in your favor. Remember low cards are Plus 1. The more low cards that are dealt means the more face cards remain to be dealt later. The odds of getting a 21 or close to it are good. So if you get to like a plus 5, you start betting bigger on your hands.

card counting is done all over the world and is totally illegal if you start winning hands consistantly in blackjack you will be watched by members of staff and by cctv then they will take you off the table and ban you from the casino THIS CAN BE DONE there are 12 people in the world known to every casino in the world and are not allowed to enter them as they can do this in most games they use different algarythms for different games !!!

okay, for 6 decks, a true count of zero means you are at a disadvantage of .5 %. for every increase in count by 1, you add .5 %. so a true count of +1 is even, and a true count of +2 gives you an advantage of .5 %.

Actually, in blackjack against the dealer, you see all the player's hand as they are individual matches. Each player vs. the dealer as if the other players don't exist.
