  • Body weight exercises and resistance training build functional strength before mass, whereas weights build mass before function. I think a combination of body weight, weight training and resistance band training are the best idea but it all depends on your desired outcome.

  • it matters what sport or what ever your getting ready for. football players usually want to get bigger.
