People always seem to forget that a lot of Obsidian (Makers of Fallout New Vegas) had a huge part of the team who made the originals.

I really like all the games. Although RPG wise, Fallout 1 and 2 have more options whilst gameplay wise, I prefer 3 and 4.

@ThePatrickNetwork That's the vault leader. You (The player) used to live there, and he told you you can't come back. so you have the choice of shooting him to death, or let him walk back in. it doesn't matter really. you get the same ending both ways. it's simply more enjoyable to kill him.

@MrPypap depending on your karma and actions throughout the game is what decides if you kill the overseer at the end. It will either lift up the gun on it's own and kill him or not.

@MrPypap Well, this guy was the one unlucky enough to get the shortest straw, (actually second) first guy only made it 10 feet before dieing. He left, killed hundreds of muntants, raiders. Saved the vault and brought them a new water chip, then saved the whole west coast by defeating the Master (Mutant leader), to come home and told he has to leave. I think he'd be pretty pissed. lol.

@Reddisgod1 Actually, FO3 screwed up by making the Enclave way too powerful. FO2 said that Poseidon Oil Rig and Navarro are the only two places the Enclave had occupied because they weren't going to start moving more people out of the Oil Rig until after the FEV kills everyone.

Since the Oil Rig was destroyed by the Chosen One, Navarro was all that was left. Even though Navarro was heavily protected, it was not a huge base, and NCR has much better technology and weapons in the Core Region.

Thats what I don't understand, even if he didn't pull a pistol on him anyways if he is in good karma, but I still do not see the reason why the Vault Dweller was banished. He was sent out into the waste to retrieve the waterchip, helped alot of people through out the wasteland such as assisting the brotherhood of steel, and prevented the mutants from taking over the entire Core Region/West Coast.

@BasharArnab The Old man is the overseer of vault 13 and he though that vault 13 was now the last safe place on earth. He also though that the vault dweller was an influence to make the other people to come out of the vault as well and see the and live in the wasteland.So the vault dweller is banished from vault 13 by the overseer so he kills the overseer.
