  • which should i buy? Yamaha R1 or Ducati 848?

  • @cowboys430isback whatever get's your dong harder..... Sounds gay, I know, but it's simple as that... make sure you testdrive them both tho !

  • @cowboys430isback stupid question.

you can't really compare those 2 bikes...-.-

  • Ahhh, Dear Santa, I dont want Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, I just want one R1 and that's that. That red and white truly looks sick!

  • meeee whant!

  • i have a 2004 r1 and there fukin fast

  • Thats bull crap anyone wanting to buy a bike buy what you want hell if you wanna buy a busa for your first bike by all means do it just dont take that bitch to its limits unless you wanna die being not so experienced, i started off with an 08 R1 and did well only dropped it 4 times and two of the 4 was in the living room cause i keep it in the house the other 2 were from being stupid praticing turns going to damn slow........so anyway go for it!!!

  • @tre4cuttie Hahaha..... I Started on an '05 R1 last august, and dropped it once (say April this year), making the same U-turn that I need to make everyday I leave my apartment complex. Slow turns are the hardest. I'd never ridden a motorcycle before then. Hopped on and rode it after my buddy explained how the shifter works. Easy as pie, IMO. That being said, I'm very gentle with the throttle when leaned over. I think that's the biggest concern for newbies. Respect the throttle AND clutch.

  • i cant wait to be 18 :D the most perfect looking bike

  • @laurita8875 you are very lucky man... in my country you are able to get one of these on your 20..... still 4 years... :(

  • I agree with you bornDopekids me n my friend w just bought an r1 2003 and we learn on it n it was our first bike to ride it's realy easy

  • the R1 was the first bike i owned and seriously rode. i basically learned on it and to tell someone not to start on it is discouraging and insulting to their abilities. If you're not rich and do not plan on buying an bike every other year by all means start with an R1. Dont be an idiot and pace yourself and everything will be fine..

  • i like r1

  • /watch?v=IUgC0zCgQyA

  • I have same and have done numerous track days, that guy definately knows what he is doing

  • 07-08 r1s are the best looking IMO and they make the most power so far. check out my video response.

  • Se parese alaa Qeee Yoo tngoo :P

  • thinkin bout this fer my first bike...yeah? no?

  • @CaelanJones start with atleast a 600 bud. you wanna die ?

  • Anyone thirsty for gloves!?

  • @muharem86 cheers. That's exactly my opinion. I started with a ZXR 400, went up to a CBR 600 RR and last year got my R1 09.

  • yamaha r1 have "BANZAI" all the time on the circuit

  • r1 ♥

  • r1 the best

  • r1 2006 and 08 the best, but the 09 SUCKSSSSS

  • @mimito92 why does the 09 suck?

  • @buckwheat40 because of the crossplane motor (less power, ugly sound)

  • Anyway, Japan rules, others like shit!

  • the best

  • GO!!! Ben Spies yamaha rules

  • are you a retard... what you just said makes no sense...

  • yeah, man your full of shit

  • i hope its winter there

  • R1 og suzuki GSX 750 R !!!

  • OFCOURSE THE R1!!

  • Comment removed

  • i getting a bike but its really hard to decide should i get NInja rx10 or yamaha r1? what you guys think.

  • r1! ride safely!

  • gsxr 750

  • yea tats wt my buddies are telling me to get cause its gonna be my first bike.

  • i think you better start with something less powerful really if you never drivin a bike maybe choose something more powerful as seconds or third bike

  • ninja 250

  • not important what we think.. have you test riden any of these bikes? very personaly choice. Personally i have riden both of these bikes and think the R1 is a more enjoyable experience.. the Zx10 is quite hard to master .. just my thought.. choose well.. ;)

  • I still prefer my R6

  • me 2 lad have 2007 r6 nice and nasty

  • caralho mano, minha moto, pode crê!

  • lokooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • translation plzzz...

  • lol @ all the idiots who think the hayabusa is the best bike in the world..... it wouldnt even get to sniff the R1 on a real road/track

  • r1 is cool but i do not think it has a chance against a hayabusa.

  • have you ever rode a R1 or a hayabusa?

  • i have a r6.

of cause r1 has a lot power but hayabusa a little bit more

  • i just watch 2 videos with same riders, yamaha r1 vs fz1 and busa vs zzr over 400 meters....

    R1 - 7.096s 224kph

    Busa - 6.718 229.10 kph

theres not as much difference as people would like to believe and on the track its alot to do with the rider, all those that say busa owns all are talkin out of there arse

  • aaaight

  • I think that busa has a lil bit more power, but it is alos a bit larger and has a lil bit more weight.. (correct me if i am wrong, but i am to lazy to search for the weight)

i think that it is hard to tell the difference which one has more power but in the papers/ and seconds....

Furthermore, it has to do with the driver.. and the handling!

    peace

  • Hey, there is no way you can compare the Busa v an R1 or Zx10.. two totally different types of bike and ride..

  • damn i love the look of that bike...and i think the best 1st bike is one of those motorcross bikes they are light and will help the beginner to practice his moeability and braking and all of that stuff..as for me i started on a Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa:D..now i find it boring to ride smaller bikes

  • i have beeen riding since 14 i am 36 i own a gs500!!! excellent first bike...60mph handles great!!!

  • Idiot. You're the person who would seal their fate on one. Those who call them death machines don't ride and likely never have.

  • there 2 pussy 2 ride 1 dats y they dis em! well jets and planes shuld b 2 then

  • Well... Technically, Planes are a much safer mode of transportation than Cars are. and I think even trains. lol. So lets not ride anything? ROFL. fuck that -_-

  • Lol true true lol

  • well technicly if you crash on a bike you got more of a chance to survive than crashing in a plane =D

  • We need change!

  • I<3 that bike

  • The most beautiful bike ever imho 8)

  • ja man das bike rockt

  • great

  • I love how so many people are telling beginners to get gsxr 600's or R6's or any supersport for that matter...This is the reason we all have to pay an arm and a leg for insurance on these bikes! The best beginner bike is something that has little power and people can learn the fundamentals. Ninja 250/500, Suzuki GS 500, Honda Nighthawk, etc. As someone else mentioned not "R" Series bikes. Buy a used beginner bike and learn to ride if you have not ridden before.

  • its german not dutch :)

  • Austrian Dialect ;)

  • aha...sorry :))

  • no problem :)

  • haybusas are fucken ugly

  • yeaH really theyre so long and gay looking

  • just wondering can tall people fit on this bike ??

Meaning is it comfortable for a tall person to ride like r1 r6 and honda cbr with out having to bend his knees and back to much to fit on it ??

  • I Rock the R1 and I'm 6'6

  • MOTOR BIKE LIBYA ARAB

  • R1 is no bike for beginners it is a monster, I have a 08 black raven r1, I started with an R6 which is the way I reccomend you go, because if you accidently crack the throttle or down shift at the wrong time your ass is gone. Please dont tell someone who hasnt rode before to get a 1000cc bike way too much power for a beginner

  • i got one man iz to awesome jabaaaaaaa!!!!!

  • comment for niscoveanu

Get a 400/500cc, Honda VFR 400 if you want a racer..

And for those idiots who are telling people that beginners should buy a R1 please dont comment becouse your gonna get them killed..

    Few Examples

The R1 Slips, drags, throws you off if your not careful

The R1 isnt a joke, when you reach 7000+ rpm

    its a beast

start slow and have fun building your skills!

    Greetings

Oh Btw ..I do drive a R1 so dont try to impress me..

  • R6 is also a good beginner bike...

  • @muharem86 some poeple are skilled even for a beginner.. but yea ur right... never give a beginner a r1.... i drive an r1 too...d:))

hahaha but i only have been riding an r1 for 2years...

    whew

  • @muharem86 ...to be honest i started on the r1,the best thing is to take your time and build up your confident and you'll be grand..i also ride the R1

  • @muharem86 Whats a good starter bike?

  • @muharem86 You are so freaking smart man

  • @muharem86 i agree with you, i almost died on a gsx-r1000

  • I say get the R1- you only live once- this just might cut that time in half. If you can ride a 50cc you can ride anything; just use your head.

  • i totally agree

  • Hi guys. For my first bike what do you say, could i learn on one of this?..or is to much power i can handle as a beginner. Thanks

  • it's too much power, you'll kill yourself, literally. start out on a 600cc like R6 or GSXR-600, trust me they are well powerfull enough to beat every car out on the street's, then you can upgrade to w/e u want in a few years.

  • I'd even bet a GSXR600 might be a bit much. Throttle is touchy, the brakes are lethal quick, and clip-ons are more responsive than a dog in heat.

  • If you've never ridden a motorbike before start with an 80cc-150cc dirt bike, something you can learn in the dirt with first, where it's a little softer lol. If you've ridden dirt bike before then yeah like ttsupra said start with a 400-600 cc so you don't kill yourself.

  • For your very first bike man? Well, I was told a GSXR-600 was the best choice. (I asked at my local dealer). Now, I personally believe anyone can ride any bike, all they need to do is take a proper safety course and learn how the bike runs and how fast it goes off the main roads. (like at a school parking lot or example)

  • The GSXR600 is a terrible bike to learn on. Any 'r' type bike has far too much power, the brakes are far to grabby, and the steering response is lethal fast. R bikes = gsxr, r1/r6, cbr, zx (kawasaki). Basically, any middle-weight or liter sport bike.

  • cool vid but i just wanted 2 see some riding!! haha gloves in the fridge :)

  • is that the street version that they sell

  • poo

  • fuerte bomba es la r1, tengo ganas de k llegue la proxima evolucion de motor ya sera cerca de los 200 cv...

  • R1 !!! forever!!!!!!!!!

  • Brutal bike!

  • very well put together!

  • I LOVE THAT BIKE! Good video

  • start of this vid made me cry

  • lol

  • fucking dreadful video

  • what helmet is that 4:15 to 4:21 around? does someone know it ? was ist das für ein helm den man um 4:20 herum sieht?

  • Looks like one of the arai but I don't think it had 2 different styles on each side of it so I might be wrong.

  • it's most definitely an Arai RX-7 Corsair. most likely it was custom painted as i dont think they've offered that kinda paint scheme before

  • maybe nolan, i cant read the logo, but it looks like its the nolan logo, check i out =)

  • no, i think also its a arai. ich kann das logo gut erkennen, und ja, vom verschluss her und der form würde ich sagen das es ein arai ist. aber die lackierung gibts nicht original. mfg

  • Yah, shitzer!

  • nice videos :D;)

  • very good!!*

  • in the vid they say qatar yes

  • Haha!! That is the Losail Circuit in Qatar not Germany. The first race of the MotoGP season start there.

  • how wud u no if their lying?

  • hey thats in Germany ha ha i actually under some things they said i just took German class

  • you guys are both idiots, its in saudi arabia

  • wtf Qatar is austria .. HAHAHAAH :S

  • Too bad your also wrong, Qatar is its own country in the Middle East. Look at a map once in a while, next time don't correct someone if you haven't a clue what your talking about.

  • superbike, i like it!!

  • legend of a bike

  • sounds really interesting... and what part of germany was that again? :-)

  • idiot, this are austrians not germans!!

  • hahahaha xDD

  • n1 xD

  • worst part of the world

  • super yamaha videos

  • man cannot believe so many of you are wrong, suzuki, yamaha etc reliable fast bikes but man where is the soul.the passion in a 999 is what its all aboutand it would give an r1,blade,gsxr1000 all a run for their money.

  • The passion = breaking down 6 days out of 7? or what?

  • as a rule would agree with you,but mine has been ok apart from a few small niggles

  • speak english.

  • learn German

  • With the new Gixxer 1000 you can actually set it to 750 and 600 mode although that seems kind of pointless.

  • It comes down to the rider. I've never been beaten by a gsxr-1000 on my R1, but that doesn't mean a thing. Most people will never get the bike to run at it's full potential. It comes down to personal taste in appearance.

  • Yamaha, no questions about it... :D

  • whitch one is better gsxr-1000 or a yamaha R1????/

  • o man thats hard,

    i would say gsxr....by like 4% lol

  • Im a Yamaha guy but for reliability issues on both 07 models compare the 06 versions. The R1 is better looking, faster on the track, higher power band. Whereas the GSXR has more power, better on the street, better 1st gear, and a slightly better low end. Me personally would prefer the R1 because I am a track guy and could care less for the street.

  • Yea i know exactly what they are talking about ;)

  • R1 all the way

  • racing bikes on a traffic road looks kinda dangerous

  • yamaha r1 is a great bike thinking of getting one soon but the gsxr 750 is an awsome bike too

  • R1 for sure mine's awesome
