I like GM cars and trucks. But for a new performance car, its poorly designed. Too heavy, awful interior, and gawky exterior. The Mustang and Challenger look much better. Camaro sold really well for 2010, but sales will drop and Mustang will again be the sales leader.
"What would you pay for Camaro Vin Number 001?" far from $350,000. I would say maybe more like $3.50, they are made very cheaply that's why chevys aren't selling.
this is vin 001 there is a us 001 and a canada 001 there is other parts of the vin that changes from us to canada it is still number one from us plant the black one is from canada
GM has finally started to bring back THE COOL to it's cars, way to go GM i hope they'll keep it up, appealing design styles paired with cutting edge technology , top of the line engines, and overall quality and reliabilty, that will bring GM back to where it belongs, on top of the automotive world, best wishes from a german U.S. car enthusiast

@DonPhilip84 GM is a zombie shell filled with government slime mooching off all that WAS alive and well. I'll NEVER buy another GM car the rest of my life.
hm i respect your opinion but i cannot agree, had the government not stepped in then very likely GM would of faced it's total demise and the goverment will pull out as soon as GM has stabalized, i understand your skepticism about govermental actions and control which is totally right !but again the government stepped in to avoid total collapse,GM shares are set to being re-relased for public offerings for the 2nd to 3rd qtr.of 2010 so that ownership is going to gradually shift to private again
Lutz has said that it is highly unlikely that the LS7 will see production. However, like the Yenko tradition, don't be surprised to see dealer versions of the LS7 and even the LA9 to be offered at a price.
better looking = better sales, people lost interest in these the last time because they didnt look like anything but arrow heads, deffinatly dont need to start rounding and flatening things out again.
with the way the automobile industry is ud think theyd of just made it look more like the old one and it would be a shoe in, just dont know why they would stray so far.
I know what u mean. The camaro died in 2003, because it just wasnt that cool anymore. The look of the car became boring, while mustang continuously tried to make there cars look better. The new CAMARO, is like a sign that CHEVY realized there mistake and is going back to the good ole days of selling affordable muscle cars.
i thought the VIN# 001 camaro of this generation was sold to the president of nascar for $250,000

Damn, for the price of one #001 Camaro, you can get eleven #100 Camaro's.

If i had Camaro #1 2010 I would make sure it has all the options I can get on it. I would also have people vote on what color it looks best in.

This was definitely the car that saved GM.
Can't wait to own one one day.

Much better than the 2003 style.
If they built cooler cars then they might not be bankrupt now.

they should just make the new camaros look exactly like the old ones except make them out of the fiberglass stuff they use today
