If you do all of this anyways, why not show it? Like I said, this solo is 4/4 with the same kick pattern throughout. The riding on the crashes is all 4/4 with no accents. No accents or tempo changes or creativity means drab solo.

Also, try working with different placements. It seems like you have a steady rhythm with the kicks, so try incorperating some flams and triplets in odd places, like the and of 3 or just before 2. This way it creates an eckleptic feel but with a steady back beat...just a thought.

Another person saying Slipknot is overrated LMAO. They are by far not overrated because of facts that remain true to this day. Only 9 piece band to last as long as they have, they went platnium(which is what EVERY band is trying to do) and they are a staple in the industry, They have a shitload of fans and are considered the best live band in the world...so learn the word overrated before you decided to cut up one of the best bands in the world.
