what effect did you use for the guitars? bass? sorry i just really admire the clarity and that's a problem i've been having when recording guitar and bass
Dude - for the love of GOOOOD! Who I don't believe helps at all! Someone tell me if its possible to extract the drums from a song, ANY song, and load them in this machine as backing tracks!! That's all I wanna do, and then plug my own guitar in, and do my own vocals!!......Nice cover by the way dude. Very gritty indeed, kurt would be proud.
Man, that was awesome. So raw, I loved it, and great voice by the way and great skills at various instruments. Gonna get that little machine now that I really can see how great it can turn out to be!!
ok it's good but def not the best check out this guy called mrheadlessmusician it's unbeleivable a couple of his aren't great but he kills it i think also check fishenelmar he is really good 2
Cause it was one of the first songs i made with this I thought it was better to begin wth a cover instead of my own songs. I didn't know how to pan then.
Being a dick or not I do wanna buy a mesa and suggest this kid to do so however expensive it might seem. Shitty guitar rig kills your creativity. Cheers.
No shit, that was very good. The BR600 is great though. Since I got mine at Xmas the wife hasn't seen much of me. I do guitar and keyboards through it and use the onboard drum patterns.
in the studio version of this song the editor or who ever he is got kurt to do the guitar part at the beging 5 times and he played them all at once.......... thats why the studio sounds different than this
You could use the BR600 internal microphones to do this. Or, if your amp has a line-out, the BR600 has a line-in (just a matter of using the appropriate connector/adaptors, etc). I DO NOT think it is safe to come directly out of your amp and plug directly into the mic or guitar input. That's what I know...
i didn't know you could record all of them on one track. i have just been recording each section on its own track. i dont know how to get it onto the computer either.

Man why dont you try singing like yourself. A cover is where you sing the song and change it maybe a smidge you sound like nirvana they were already a band faget
How do I get my recordings to sound amazing like yours??? Go on my profile and listen to my song Neo-Classical Metalness, and it sounds terrible. How did you you get yours to sound amazing. Also, what if your song has tempo changes. It seems to me that the drums have to stay at the same tempo the whole song. Is their any way to fix this???
I think you should try using a four-track to record something and understand how hard it is to produce anything of even near-decent quality. Granted if this song was recorded in a studio, it wouldn't be all that great. But you need to cut the guy who recorded it some slack and realize that he did a really fantastic job on such a limited piece of recording equipment.
this is the same recording system i use :) your cover sounds realy tooman, well done !

I have the EXACT same machine, and i do all my songs on it, it is a great machine.
I love using some of the effects for vocals, and the pre-recorded bass and drums are great.
The built in mics are ok, but i sometimes hook my own up so my own voice is clear.
This a good cover, and this machine proves that you can make kick ass songs with it.
If anyone has any questions about the machine, reply back.
but anyway, great cover!!! and its of nirvana so, sweet! :).

Nice work mate, lookin forward to my BR-600 arrivin!
c0ldcity 3 years ago
wicked cover mate, really fuckin good.
One question, what do you think of the in built mics?
Does it sound like your voice when you record into it...
Is it worth getting a decent mike to use with the br 600 or just stick with the in built ones?
xheartshapebox 3 years ago
Wow, nice. There a few brief moments where your voice sounds like Cobain's.
The guitar needs more punch. I'd add more midrange distortion.

or is it just ur confused on how it goes onto ur computer?

i didn't know you could record all of them on one track. i have just been recording each section on its own track. i dont know how to get it onto the computer either.

I think he means bouncing the drums, the guitar, bass, vocals, drums to one track to make room for more stuff
bigblacklongdong 3 years ago
yeah i had no clue that you could do that. i still have to read the manual for this thing :P
knot4reel91 3 years ago

Personally I hate covers, simply because they are never good as the original and secondly what's the point? It's better to just write your own music.
